  1. I'm just ganna put my opinion in but feel free to iignore me if it offends you or is wrong, as I have a low post count My opinion is as follows: Everyone probably thinks you're being a dick by asking who is the worst henchman. IIt's like asking who is the worst person in this room, even if there is an answer, you're gganna get at least one person angry. If you were going to play "the worst person," that's fine. Dont make a scene of it and make a thread about "who is the hardest to play," or "who needs the most patch up and why" thread instead of saying "I need a handicap." it makes people who are playing that character that is suggested feel weak. Sorry for my directness. I come from a high context culture so I don't think a thread name this direct is acceptable
  2. Oh, thanks for the tips! And that was certainly a useful wall of text if any! Ill be sure to try it out! Thanks
  3. alright, i'll try to keep in mind what everyone has told me, thanks!
  4. might there be a video tutorial on this? or is it something you pick up from practice?
  5. That's what I've been wondering how to do, actually. When i thin my paints for something like the coat or a giant portion then i can do it but for the little details, should i still be thinning it? cause when i try to thin my paint for like a necklace or something, it would just spread onto something else.
  6. i used it on showgirls out of LOS with henchmen and they didnt say anything so i'd assume it works
  7. as the title states, malifaux is my first wargame, and I really like the customization that painting brings to the table. I get to paint my people however i want and so on. I finished Colette's box set and doves a week ago (I'm leaving out everyone but Colette and her doves cause they look horrible), and I thought I would like some opinions on how I can get better at painting (THIN YOUR PAINTS THIN YOUR PAINTS). These are my most recent figures I painted, brace yourselves D:! any and all critiques are encouraged! Oh yeah, that easel is supposed to say "The star theater" but I was probably half asleep. It is meant as an objective marker for destroy the evidence and such. I would love some ideas for 2 more (or was it 4 evidence pieces?) pieces. Please tell me what you think! Thanks!
  8. I'm curious on what kind of fate deck people use. As for me, I use a sentimental circus deck for my collette games.
  9. I wish i could do this but post count is too small have fun guys! ill join next year!
  10. 5 players 4v1 format (host vs players) Each player brings a gift (wyrd likes it more when you bring in a gift that wyrd sold to you) One big grinch overpowered home-made monster as a master a bunch of ice golems or rasputina december stuff Scatter gift tokens around the map behind the grinch's crew 4 houses behind the player's crew, each house is designated and owned by a player the goal is to take the present tokens and bring it to a player's house (not your own) and give it to the corresponding player (then you will give the gift you have brought in to the corresponding player). Win conditions: -all presents are delivered bonus condition: -grinch's crew is wiped out, in which extra goodies provided by the host is distributed to the players (or a bonus mission after this mission involving breaking the grinch's house...? LOL) alternate win condition: -all players give the grinch presents, warming up his heart and making him give back all the presents to the players including extra goodies ----- i've never played a game of malifaux in my life because i'm not done painting but i love to read senarios and play games in my head... i'm not sure if this would work as a sceneario... EDIT: i didnt read the gingerbread house part... maybe the grinch and his forces are trying to defend a house too? LOL
