  1. A Warpig can't be Pigapaulted, only H1 models can be The scary thing would be two Skeeters getting paulted then sooey-ing up the pigs.
  2. A pair of Necropunks would be better IMO. Cb 5 + Flurry (when set up) can help deplete the opponent's hand as Hard to Kill can help keep you around that turn you need to be able to activate and flurry. And if they kill you, pop out Bete! Win/win!
  3. It may be late and I may be understanding this wrong, but say you have a Mannequin, Performer and Colette within 6" of each other. You can companion the Performer and Colette to the Mannequin and activate all 3 at once?
  4. Keeping Seamus flanked by some undead models and then dropping Undead Psychosis on the opposing master really neuters them. It's also useful should they get into CC with you and you're able to win initiative to force them to walk away.
  5. Dollar for soulstone amount, you can't beat Bete Noir or Jack Daw and both are excellent additions to a Seamus crew. Just buying Molly alone isn't a bad choice, either.
  6. Yeah, I'm pretty sure shooting into melee allows targeting of models that would otherwise be out of line of sight. It's not really a trick shot, it's to represent models swirling in melee combat.
  7. Misaki would be my recommendation as well. Her stat line is awesome and she has an amazing melee range. This is improved further by being at closer range and giving her melee attacks blasts. Spirits don't like magical blasts.
  8. For when you do expand into Som'er, the Pigapault is actually a pretty good value for your money. You can use the giant pig part as a Warpig, the gremlin as a Bayou Gremlin, then the Pigapault as itself. It's 3 models in 1!
  9. I would totally go if it weren't my birthday.
  10. I love my Gremlins to bits, but they're a bit of an investment. If you pick up a Somer box, you'll need him along with the 4 mosquitoes and a package of Slop Haulers is good, too. If you want to use pigs, there's a bunch of stuff you'll want to pick up in addition to Somer's box. I also love my Seamus crew, and it expands to 30-35SS very easily just by adding Bete Noir and a totem will put you comfortably at 25. His Avatar is also loads of fun.
  11. I'm pretty sure Games of Berkeley has some sort of wargaming presence. When I was there a few years ago they had a ton of 40k terrain. I'd give them a call to see if anyone plays there, or try to find a regional forum.
  12. I thought that only Sonnia and Kaeris could hire them?
  13. I haven't cast Gorgon's Gaze, yet. I could see it being strong against some minions. Gorgon's Miasma is just amazing. GM + Bellow = an effective WP 15 morale duel. Nothing to sneeze at. My typical manifestations thus far have been setting it up for a 1 action in the middle of a few models, manifesting, Miasma, then Bellow, then increasing my terrifying to 15. I'm curious if using Succumb to Darkness makes opposing models take another Terrifying test. I assume not since it's not a new instance of Terrifying, but I could have missed something.
  14. Flurry and charge require general AP to activate and the AP from Melee Expert is not general AP. It can only be used for a basic melee strike.
  15. I view harder schemes as an optional handicap. Playing Lady J, for example, instead of Assassinate (not easy) you can take her specific one which is much harder as a handicap against a less experienced player. I don't think Malifaux was designed as a competitive game in the same vein as Warmachine/Hordes. I often take Army of the Dead with Seamus just for the challenge (in fun games, that is).
  16. The Pigapault itself is 6 parts, the pig part is a resin body, 4 pewter legs and a head, and the gremlin is 1 part. So 12 pieces total.
  17. If the "Fluid in the Lungs" trigger goes off on a cast of Riptide, does each model that takes the defense flip beyond the initial target also get affected by Fluid in the Lungs?
  18. Those Death Marshals look awesome. I'd like to see the "cloak" extended on Lady J. That will make it a bit more convincing.
  19. Hoping to play against those tomorrow
  20. Sybelle's ignore armor spell is a WP duel and all Hoff's constructs are ITI
  21. Is the Pigapault worth the 4 soulstones in a pure Kin list? I haven't tried the interaction between the Pigapault and Pere, but I can only assume it's really good and might be worth it.
