  1. I've had these gals for a long, long, time. I decided to get them to stop staring at me and painted them up. They sit on Secret Weapon Miniatures sewer bases. The plan is to finish the rest of the gang off before 2014. Seamus and Sybelle- Here I come!
  2. Looks great, but the white is quite stark compared to the rest of the model. It looks clean and well done.
  3. Ok all, what do you suggest I do with the basing for the whole gang?
  4. Thanks. When I'm done I'll use an actual camera instead of my smart phone...and bigger sizes so you can zoom in to see all the mistakes. lol
  5. So, here's an update to my painting. Rotten Belle # 2 is almost done. Greeny is still wet from the drying retarder as well as the Future floor polish I used on her hair. I still have some tidbits to finish on both gals, which I describe on my blog. You can follow along with the 11+1 challenge on my BLOG: Pen and Lead.
  6. I have new, in boxes, a Some'r Teeth Jones starter and a Sorylian starter for Firestorm Armada. I'm looking for a few things: Terrain- 28mm buildings like Sarissa and the like Malifaux: Resurrectionists. New stuff from the expansions for Nicodem, Seamus, and McMourning Helldorado: Sarecens (I have the starter and a few others) Immortals (I have the starter) Warmachine: Cryx battle engine new cryx models Boardgames Trade retail for retail unless you're stuff is used. Each person covers their own shipping to send the items.
  7. Quality brushes are important if you take care of them. The point, even on size 3, are sharper than cheap brushes, they hold paint better, and lay down paint smoother. Their are at least two companies that people swear by..and more I'm sure: Rapheal Windsor and Newton S7 I use a W&NS7 size 2 almost predominantly, go to a 1 or 0 on fewer occasions as the points are just amazing.
  8. How did you cut your base inserts so round? What method? Thanks!
  9. Hi all, I decided to start a personal challenge and a challenge to anyone who follows my Pen and Lead Wordpress blog- I'm painting 12 models for myself and no one else. One a month for 2012 just to keep me painting. I'm starting off with the Seamus Red Chapel Gang and working into some other manufacturers minis. Anyway, here's a pic of the first Rotten Belle I've started: If you wish to follow along, or post your own 11+1 challenge, please feel free to visit my blog and post your 12 models for 2012. I've got a few challengers joining me so far, but lets get more! http://penandlead.wordpress.com
  10. I also use straight pins bought in small boxes of 100 for pinning.
  11. Where did you get the sleigh? I was looking for one last year that would fit 28mm models.
  12. Thanks for the discussion. I'm just annoyed enough to ever play against Lady Justice ever again. I simply quit at the end of round two during out last game- I simply destroyed. I'll have to read through this post again for our next game and plan a little better. Thanks!
  13. One problem with terrifying is that Lady Justice gains +2 WP against undead, right? Or someone in her starter does, I think. Seamus isn't undead, but most of his crew are. Still new to the game so learning who does what is a chore.
  14. Any suggestions on how to handle serious melee masters like Lady Justice with Seamus? Same with Lilith and her Mature Nephilim.
