Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone was interested in restarting/starting a malifaux community in the Bay Area here in California. A friend and I have been meeting regularly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Endgame Oakland around 6:00 pm, and I try to go to Black Diamond Games in Concord Monday and Tuesdays from 10-3. If anyone is interested, feel free to send me a PM or even just meeting me up in those said places. Hope to see you there!

I was playing a game with a friend today and realized that Gremlin's luck after Som'er is Alpha'd can do quite a bit of damage on him. Am I able to cast Gremlin's luck and bring his health down to 1 even if they doesn't have that many control cards? For example, if he has 5 wds left and 3 control cards, can I still inflict 4 wds on Som'er?

I'm trying to go every Tuesday and Wednesday with a friend of mine. If you wanted to meet up either of those days I'd love to have a match. I also try to go to Black Diamond / Gamer's Guild on the weekends, but I'm not normally there.

Thanks for clearing this up for me everyone! One more question though, say he does kill off his master, Can I use a soul stone to re-flip my strategy still ? Or am I stuck with an impossible strategy?

Thanks for all of the advice everyone! A friend and I have been going to End Game where it seems that a few people who once played want to get back into the game, and Ronin Games in Castro Valley, where everyone who watches us are seeing the game for the first time. I really do want to check out the San Rapheal and SF stores, but it's a bit far (and toll is needed). I've called Games of Berkeley, and it seems they don't have anyone playing Malifaux, which is a bummer.

A friend and I were playing a game today, and after a few rounds in he asked if it was possible for him to just kill off his master (Somer) to prevent me (Marcus) from completing the Deliver a Message strategy. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is is allowed, and if so what would the person with the deliver a message do afterwards? Or what is the incentive for the opponent to not kill their master off early?

Hello everyone! I was looking at the list of players in the California Bay Area and was wondering whether there was a specific place where everyone played? I live around the Oakland area, and although I know there is a place in Concord and Antioch to play, I haven't had much luck finding a stable place around this area. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone! I'm from the East Bay Area over here in California and this is my first time playing a miniature style game. I was wondering if there were any places for me to both learn and play the game around this area? I often go to Concord/Antioch (so either black diamond games or gamers guild/battle bunker) on the weekends, but for the rest of the days I'm not too sure where I should play pick up games. Any suggestions?
