In addition to board and card games being run by their staff, I'll be on hand all afternoon for Malifaux Demos and to facilitate open play. I played Izamu in the same game as the Dead Rider recently. Izamu killed stuff while the Dead Rider died. Conclusion? Izamu > DR.

Malifaux Story Encounter Event Play 3 rounds of a original story encounter, fixed faction event using two 30 Soulstone crews and one 40 Soulstone crew to brew the Undying Elixir! Entry is $10. Prizes based on attendance. 20% of the prize pool will go towards the best painted 35 Soulstone crew to be displayed during lunch. Sunday, February 24th, store doors open at 10, registration runs until 11, play begins at 11:15. Rounds will be 105 minutes long. Lunch break after round 1. Had this come up in a game recently. I couldn't find anything in the rulebook for interact, and I didn't notice anything on the strategy itself. Does interacting for Deliver the Message require line of sight? If so being pointed to the relevant portion of the RM would be appreciated.

I've been trying to explain my crew choices when hiring. I'll attempt to continue to do so.

What I have done in the past is taken Von Schill and Angelica when facing Neverborn. Von Schill is great at taking apart minions and defends reasonably well against Pandora with his Stubborn knocking his willpower up to 8, and Angelica makes most of your crew immune to falling back from Mental Anguish, Pandora's most dangerous ability. So, VS will dismantle that 4 dmg bubble, Angelica will keep Colette from falling back, and then you simply use your Soulstones to be able to cheat above Pandora (with your +ve flips from Collette's ability. If you're dead set on using Kaeris, you're going to have a difficult time, because while WP 9 is nice (after Burning Heart), you can only do that so often, and your blast damage really isn't that impressive all things considered.

I saw these shared on Facebook and was very impressed especially with the showgirls. Colette can be tricky to paint up (imo) and yours looks great.
