  1. Great painting all around. I think my favourite of these crews is your Seamus crew, each model has a lot of character and they look great as a group. Nice job on the skin tones everywhere, especially Lilith and her brood.
  2. Nice solid base. Would be nice to have some Crooked Men and/or Rotten Belles for some area control/lure fun.
  3. I often bring 4 canine remains with my Nicodem list. They die quick which provides a good supply of corpse counters. Also, in pairs they are no longer Insignificant, so if I need to send a few of them off on their own to grab an objective they can do so without me sacrificing a better model to go do the job. Plus I just love turning a 2ss dog into a 5ss punk zombie.
  4. Great writeup. Everyone messes up rules from time to time, good on you for going straight to the TO and giving your opponent the win when this was brought to your attention. Don't encourage him!
  5. I've started up a new blog to post up shots of my WIP and finished minis. Lately I've been working on Pandora's crew. Please check it out using the link in my signature, comments and criticisms are welcome!
  6. You will need book 1 for the bulk of the rules to play the game. Since the rules for the models are released with the models, you really don't need book 2 unless you plan to use unreleased models. Book 2 is also good for the expanded encounters section.
  7. Also, with doppleganger mimicking Pandora's Emotional Trauma, you really don't miss the sorrows' Emotional Stress too much.
  8. Cool stuff! Is that the Pandora crew photographed in the rulebooks or did someone do an amazing job copying the colours/bases?
  9. Good start! Looking forward to the tourney review.
  10. We're saying the first mimic action gives you the weapon and associated weapon abilities. With the second mimic action you could then mimic a trigger associated with the weapon. The thread you linked to only says that you don't automatically get the triggers by mimicking the weapon, not that you can't mimic a trigger.
  11. Triggers are Talents, so I don't see why not. Most combat triggers do specify the weapon they are used with however, so it'd be both uses of mimic to get the weapon and the matching trigger.
  12. Swap out the puppet for somethin icy and she'd make a good Silent One also.
  13. I fired up the Archimedes laser at Helios One and now the NCR don't like me. I've got 1 more day to improve my standing or the NCR ranger chick will come for me. Meh, she's all bark.
  14. Apparently it will be possible soon, but not yet. Details haven't yet been finalized/posted.
  15. Sweet! So in a 55ss brawl you could take the Dreamer, drop the second master for 10 ss, and hire all 7 teddies. Probably not a winning strategy all the time, but you've gotta try it!
  16. I'd love to see some kind of crew builder in Android!
  17. So far so good, looking forward to more updates.
  18. I disagree, I'd say the poison is an effect on the activating model and therefore active player, so it would apply before the external effect from the opposing player's alps.
  19. I've got a proxy I plan to use on occasion, but the steep ss cost means he's not an auto-include for me. Like you said, in some strategies that require a fast moving element to the crew he looks great. Would likely try to keep him in range of Nicodem's bolster, then strike out and drag opponents back for the punks to flurry on...
  20. Perhaps something like these: http://www.glassicicles.com, only made out of plastic (can't see glass icicles being practical for gaming).
  21. Also, do all book 1 models have/need a V2 card? Or is there a list somewhere of models with changes to their cards? I don't personally mind buying replacement cards, but I also don't want to buy a second card if the only difference is a "V2" in the corner...
  22. Does anyone know if the replacement cards from the online store are V2?
  23. Being able to create corpses out of thin air is pretty awesome. Even one or two early on can help Nico's defenses (by creating mindless zombies) or by making it easier for him to summon bigger undead sooner (rogue necromancy much?). Against anti-resurrectionist crews (ie Justice, or any other crews that use/steal corpse counters) you can companion with Nico, create the corpse, and Nico can use it right away without fear of it being stolen. In summary, I think he's worth the points, and a solid buy when facing those crews. If you're not facing those crews, I'm sure there's other models you can take instead that are also worth their points, and naturally you'll use different tactics based on which models you choose and which stategy/schemes you end up with.
