  1. I have played him once in M2E with Colette, and he was a real beast. Prompt makes good things better, and great things awesome. Joss is great
  2. A single one combos well with Lazarus if you like taking him, since it gives him 8" of free movement (via Assimilate and Dance Partner). While a single one can be very fragile, if you have two on the table the opponent is going to do whatever he/she can to kill one of them to stop the Duet from appearing. With just one, there is not the same sense of urgency on the part of your opponent to kill it. Might make it live a little longer, and if it can avoid attacks that ignore Armor then it will last a good few Turns.
  3. I am painting up my Riflemen and Dashel right now, so this is an interesting discussion. Quite fancy trying them with Sonnia and Witchling Handler (for the extra Burning on their damage).
  4. That is a thing of beauty! Love the attention to detail and the craftsmanship. Remarkable
  5. I prefer to engage her Frozen Heart minions rather than shoot at them, but shooting them is certainly an option. Lure is certainly a good option. If you are playing Mei as Arcanists, the Captain has some very good movement effects to push enemy models out of range of Raspy's casting net. Sue is excellent ranged support, but he also brings a 3" aura of neg casting flips, which really hurts Raspy.
  6. You could also consider Hans, to shoot off Sub-Zero (which can mess with a melee-oriented crew such as yours) or even get rid of Shattered Heart, which limits Raspy's casting. Even the threat of losing either of these two upgrades could cause the Raspy player to play more defensively. 10T Archers are ideal, however, as they can Rapid Fire into the melee Mei Feng and Kang have created and ensure they will not hit friendlies. A melee crew dealing with a ranged crew might not be best suited to adding generic ranged support however, since you cannot really compete with the enemy in ranged damage output and might hit your own guys. You might consider some back-field disruption models instead, who can get into the ranged elements and shut them down. The Soulstone Miner is ideal for this, and a Raptor is not too bad, either. You can unbury the Raptor in melee with Raspy at the end of the Turn
  7. Justin's reasons for not having "Rules Marshall" posts are perfectly valid for Wyrd, who obviously don't want players having to trawl forums for FAQs, but that is no reason why the Wiki cannot be as comprehensive as possible, and point people to an available ruling.
  8. After my comment above, this is what I made. The top pair await painting, but the bottom pair are done.
  9. He excels at shutting down elite models, so avoid those if you can and go for numbers, Focus, Crit Strike and indirect damage to take Jack down.
  10. Any time I have a problem with a Ca Action, I think Sue. If you're 10T, Mei Feng's Vent Steam is horrible to those Actions as well.
  11. I played on the first two tables. The first one was Reconnoitre with Ramos against Rasputina, where I ate a few icy blasts but managed to score VPs well enough. The second was Turf War with Kaeris against Pandora. That was a massacre, as Pandy had nowhere to hide from the burning and the shooting and the burning. The third one was just silly, though. Everyone commented on it, and imo tables like that should be reserved for Story Encounters.
  12. I have been making a few additions to Colette and her crew models, and have now added the Mannequin entry.
  13. On the subject of potential spill effects - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Molasses_Disaster
  14. I can see a distinction based on the wording of the FAQ that differentiates it from "after damaging" triggers. "After damaging" triggers go off regardless of the amount of damage, provided it is more than 0. The FAQ is talking about triggers that produce a different result for different amounts of damage. This means that eg. Black Blood is not affected by the FAQ since it is a binary either/or result. Either the model with Black Blood took damage or it did not. A trigger like Restabilise produces a range of results (Heal x) for a range of events (Cause x damage). Only triggers like this are affected by the FAQ as I see it.
  15. Which means a nice boost for Live For Pain on Seamus
  16. 1. Rogue Necromancy (10SS) 2. Pigapult. Zoraida. 3. Marcus (3). 4. Francisco. 5. 13. 6. Don't know. 7. No idea. 8. Don't know, but I imagine Collodi could do something with Effigies that might come close. Red Joker on a Dumb Luck Trigger with Ophelia's gun (12).
  17. That he does, but with Vent Steam you should be able to keep him safe from ranged attacks, and with Reckless and Flight you can keep him away and out of LoS until you need him. On the other hand, if he is drawing fire then Mei Feng isn't.
  18. A sewage spill? Can be modelled simply by pouring PVA glue and then painting and gloss varnishing it. A nice twist might be to model some steam pipes running at ground level, and have them all ruptured. It would be Ht0 Severe, but also Hazardous, with the steam cloud granting area soft cover. I might model that myself, actually (EDIT: think I'll do two version - intact and ruptured, and allow crews to damage them in-game)
  19. This could be fun:- Arcanists Crew - 50 - Scrap Mei Feng -- 7 Pool +Arcane Reservoir [2] +Imbued Protection [2] +Vapormancy [1] Emberling [3] Arcane Effigy [4] Metal Gamin [4] Metal Gamin [4] Metal Gamin [4] Steam Arachnid [4] Steam Arachnid [4] Steam Arachnid [4] The Firestarter [7] +Bleeding Edge Tech [1] +Powered by Flame [2]
  20. That looks like a fun combo. Add Powered By Flame and some Metal Gamin/ Steam Arachnids?
  21. The Witchling Handler has the same Drain Magic trigger and has obvious synergies with Witchlings. The Exorcist can make enemy models Undead for a (0) Action which then allows it to use the Banish to Obliviion trigger on its melee attack (needs a ; discard 2 cards or 2 ss). Its ranged attack also has a trigger Pinned to the Ground which requires the target to discard 2 cards to remove it. Ama No Zako is a mercenary with a kill trigger that requires the target to discard 2 cards or 2 ss as well.
  22. An amazing-looking table. Love the attention to detail
  23. This statement is equally true, and equally helpful It looks like this is one of the rules imponderables that needs an FAQ and until then gamers will have to work it out among themselves. It's no biggie, though. I don't think anyone has demonstrated that Lazarus has any broken interactions with these Masters or their crews, have they?
