hieronymous Posted September 1, 2013 Report Share Posted September 1, 2013 well its been a long time since i posted anything on here, now rather than Necro an old thread that even Nicodem would be proud of i thought id start a new thread ! plus its a completely different faction so that almost makes sense ! so here we are with the start of my Guild, starting with McCabe and Co ! very happy with how these turned out although not sure whats happened with leaning on the hammers face, that mould lines just appeared from nowhere !! nagash13 Posted September 2, 2013 Report Share Posted September 2, 2013 i totally understand magical mold lines. last night while i was applying washes to a unit of models one minute ther was nothing the next it was jumping off the model screaming "you forgot about me!" ---------- Post added at 08:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:47 PM ---------- since i forgot to mention it. i really like what you have done here. a good mix of dark tones. similar enough that the models retain a consistent feel, yet just enough variation that the different pieces of cloth dont blend together into one large color blob. the hghlighting is excellent. its rare to see horse manes and twisted leather(whip) hand highlighted instead of drybrushed.
