theJudge
Just saw this on twitter. How has it been a secret for this long?? http://www.phdgames.com/malifaux-plastic-witchling-stalker/
Duck21
It’s one piece!!! And the base is on the sprue. Will the other miniatures fallow suit? Lack of fiddly bits going to make some people very happy.
Mister Shine
Stalkers were already pretty one piece werent they?

Hateful Darkblack
This looks really nice. Clean, good design, and looks a lot like the metal version.
Duck21
Stalkers were already pretty one piece werent they? it's the only one piece plastic malifaux miniature I've seen. ---------- Post added at 04:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:00 PM ---------- Lack of three dimensional poses will make others pretty sad :'( Good point. Is it just me, or the details becoming more pronounced. Edited July 10, 2013 by Duck21
Ausplosions
Wow. Its only ever going to be in one pose. BORING. Give me Fiddly bits any day.
Guy in Suit
Give me Fiddly bits any day. I like to think I am part of the silent majority that loves the super dynamic poses like Yamaziko, 10T Archer, etc. and the crazy stuff you can do with them... theJudge
You have some complaining that the plastics have too many parts and others worried that they are only in one piece. Word can't win :-p

Mister Shine
I dont want to glue the wrist on, its an easy break point. But luckily there's this thing called modeling where if I dont like the pose on a model I can cut the wrist myself to change the pose
Duck21
I don’t mind multi part miniatures, but I just bought Burt Jebsen and he has 10 bits. Surely 5 would be sufficient for such a small mini. But one piece is pushing it.
thebarbalag
I doubt all the models can be judged from this one. Witchlings have always been one pieces... if this kind of thing lets Wyrd produce minion boxes instead of making stuff like Witchlings starter box only, I'm all for it. Mister Shine
Plus side: its on its own. Maybe moving away from the current style of Master's minion only available in master box?
Duck21
I don’t like double posting but I think it’s been missed. Does anyone else think the details becoming more pronounced ?

WindlordRyu
Plus side: its on its own. Maybe moving away from the current style of Master's minion only available in master box? That was the first thing I noticed. Hopefully it means you won't have to buy an entire crew box just to get a new sculpt of a single model. i_was_like_you
That's one of at least two Witchling pics we've seen so far. Just this is the first pic of the actual plastic model.

decker_cky
Possibility from the idea of a one-piece model: What if the model is intended for a starter set?

Gujozec
I don’t like double posting but I think it’s been missed. Does anyone else think the details becoming more pronounced ? Seems like it. I think it looks good. And concerning the "one piece - no posability" issue: I have assembled the Yan Lo box twice, and even all those many bits they consisted of didn't provide any posability. They were designed to be put together in a predetermined way.

i_was_like_you
Seems like it. I think it looks good. And concerning the "one piece - no posability" issue: I have assembled the Yan Lo box twice, and even all those many bits they consisted of didn't provide any posability. They were designed to be put together in a predetermined way. They sure were. When it came to Dark Debts, it was fairly easy to shave off a nub and drill into a gap to accommodate using magnets, but with other models, such as Kang, it was harder to accomplish. So much easier to hack off a whole part flush than it is to have to assemble half of it, then modify the other half.
Sybarite
Yes the details look more defined on this miniature Really liking the look of it. Makes me even more hyped about the crew boxes for gencon! i'm hoping there will be models with 1-4 pieces or something like that. 10 is kind of crazy for ht2-models. i really don't want all models to be too 2d though Some customization with different bits ant some poseable elements would be nice too.
