Kiing
Anyone know if Wyrd is working on a book 4? If so, feel free to post the link since my brief glance came up empty.
Fetid Strumpet
Wyrd has, historically, produced 1 book each year, releasing the book at that year's Gen Con. The only book released not according to this schedule was the Rules Manual. The conventional wisdom during the time after Book II's release was that the next book would be Special Forces and would deal with and fill out the then new concept of Special Forces Models. When the Rules Manual was released there were interviews with Wyrd staff on podcasts that the Special Forces book was actually slated for release around the time when the Rules Manual came to market, and that the necessity of that book's release, as well as the time it took to compile and edit the book booted Special Forces from their intended line up. There was a great deal of assumption that last year's Gen Con would see the Release of the Special Forces book. When Twisting fates was announced, and the information was made public that the book's main feature would be the introduction of the long awaited Avatar rules it seemed that Special Forces would then have to wait another year. At this point it would make a logical sense that the information contained in the hypothesized Special Forces Book will now come out at this year's gen con. Since it will have been two years since the advent of the concept of Special forces I'm not certain that this book's core theme will cover this aspect of the game, but I would expect that a good deal of attention will be devoted to them, particularly in the case of those who have minimal support, such as the Horrors. At this point it is all Hypothesis.
magicpockets
Don't forget we're expecting a new FAQ and a rewrite of book 1, and we've got the possibility of alternate avatars to attach to Masters too - they could be working on any of those time round. Book 4 with Special Forces would be cool though

Requirement
Wyrd likes to be nice and cagey about what they are working on. All secrets and small hints everywhere. They'll let us know about 7 minutes in to GenCon.

Paul Turner
Do we really need more books right now with additional rules? Am thinking that the entry level for new players with rules in three different books is already quite confusing. I'd really like them to release one book to rule them all! dunce002917
A special forces book would be awesome! More Henchmen per faction (at least 1 please), alternate Avatars and more Minions... plus, a new Master would be nice too.

So you're saying Book 4 is a book of Gamins for every occasion? With Santa and his Xmas Gamin, Easter Bunny and her Chocolate Gamin, St Valentine and his Love Gamin . . . The opportunities are endless!!! Either that, or it could be a more sensible release . . . So, who's up for a Gamin book? =p
