Or just get rid of the Teleport action entirely. Sanguine Evocations should be Levi's only truly relevant (0). If it really is just the teleport/card draw that puts him otp I'm all for removing it in it's whole. It's Levi, dying every turn feels like it is the right thing to do.

So, all in all, not much has changed. Desolate Soul got upped to 2SS (which is reasonable, imho) And to compensate Alyce gained a tome, given her a reason to take Desolate Soul as well. Any other changes I have missed?

You know what, I have a better idea than staying away. I'll come along, and bring the old man with me. (Where the old man is off course Leveticus.) He's in a position where this kind of tournament really benefits him, and allows me to illustrate my points at the table. (Against the more experienced players themselves at the very least. Newbies that I happen to face will get a non-Pariah list against them, out of principle.)

I've gotten bad experience with fixed master tournaments, since they encourage jack of all trades masters. Even worse, considering you can choose your minions freely every battle, and have perfect knowledge of the opponents masters, you encourage horrible matchups. (For example, when playing against Leveticus, a Viktoria player could decide to take 3 Void Wretches, which for the Viktorias is usually a very poor choice that no-one would seriously contemplate, but specific in a matchup against Leveticus that becomes an excellent way to break Levi when he's down. ANd since minion choice is free, there is nothing the Vikks have to lose by that choice)

With 50SS Pool, do you mean that the games will be of a 50SS size, rather than a 50SS pool of models or upgrades? If so I won't be joining. It is too easy to counter specific masters like Pandora with certain upgrades. (Like Perdita's or the Gremlins Stubborn upgrade, which usually is situational), and it makes sure hard counters cannot be avoidedby picking another master. I'm sorry. I like playing with you guys, but this tournament format has already been shown to be hugely problematic balancewise, and I do not plan on going through that again. Typo: Pandora's Fugue State costs 1 SS in the creator, whereas it costs 2 SS on the upgrade card.

I'm rather fond of Cry For Me actually. It also combines rather well with Voices, because low crows can be used for Paralyse, even if that only allows me to take Fears Given Form further.

Largest problem with Kade is the boxset of Pandora; every model (bar Candy) want's high crows, and I rarely get my full worth out of Kade, because whatever crows I give to Sweetbreads and/or Lure, are not fueling Mental Anguish. So I can see him worth it in other neverborn crews (since they predominantly want Masks), but not all that much with his supposed master, Pandora due to strained rescources. Let's face it, weak Dg 1 for a CC model is pathetic.

I thought Neverborn was the term for all sentient inhabitants of Malifaux, as of pre-breach? For I do not think Tyrants can be discounted when summing up Neverborn. Weren't Tyrants Neverborn that grew so powerfull the other Neverborn no longer could stand against them?

Funnily enough, I consider the quintessential neverbornmaster to be the most clearly human master: Jakob Lynch. Or rather the Hungering Darkness, he's a Tyrant, but subversive, with a primal urge to feed, and yet manipulative and deceptive
