Moondog
Cheers all. Having some major problems with Papa Loco, the chain is breaking off, nearly lost the lit portion of the dynamite and his head is one major pain to glue on! Takes me back to gluing metal and plastic space marines - that was a major pain!
Moondog
I'm resurrecting this dead thread as I have finally painted another one of my crew! Yes I'm terribly slow. But I am back into Malifaux and playing some games, so I need to get painting again. Cheers for looking.

Moondog
Thanks both. I think I did the levels a bit too much I uploaded it in a rush... It actually is a bit more toned down in real life...
Praetoriian
Like everyone else on this thread has said, you have done a great job on Perdita, very different type of colour scheme, and well I like different!
Tony LiPira
Very well done! The vivid green makes a nice contrast to the neutral browns.
Moondog
Thanks! I am trying to pick up the pace painting 2 / 3 models at the same time to finish the basic crew. I have picked a up a new plastic Lone Marshal also and I am thinking of trying to put a badge on his cloak. Something along the lines of a US Marshal badge could be cool, but I have no idea how to pull it off. Either I get some green stuff to make it, or use freehand, niether of which is easy for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.... I like the look of something like the badges in the following link. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=us+marshal+badge&client=firefox-a&hs=anS&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&channel=np&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=w7ZaU7fYNaSm0QWgq4D4DQ&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1600&bih=770 Cheers! Moondog
Tried to speed up progress and I have two more ready and varnished... not sure these are as great as I had imagined before I started them but I need to get a painted crew fielded asap so I whacked the varnish on and they are ready to play! Got Papa Loco started and then it's the peacekeeper to complete the first crew...
Viruk
Very unusual color scheme but I really like how they turned out.

NIGHTHATER
Moondog, Ya this is solid work to be sure, and your crew is very well painted. I'm not sure how I fell about the green on the Ortegas, but your crews impressive. Nighthater
Moondog
OK done a bit more.... and a final family photo.... Cheers!
KARGAIN
I like this green style! Very good. The green with red details on the hut and the dynamite goes well together.
NoHero
Really like the cohesiveness of the crew and I don't think you'll ever run into a similar looking ortega crew.
mrmuffinface
Cool another finished crew! Nice prison jammies. Great theme!
Vaiuri
I like that you've gone in a different direction with colours for these guys, very striking! Papa Loco's clothes are a bit too white, if you know what I mean? It kinda detracts from the realism you have going on with the rest of your painting. Maybe just blend some shadows in here and there and see how it looks? The bases are fab, love the little cacti! What are you planning to paint next? Moondog
Cheers! Next on the list is the Peacekeeper. Need a good free evening / day to get stuck into that. Once that is done I'll have a 50ss painted crew...
Moondog
Well, extremely slow but the peackeeper is done....

Moondog
Austringers and a Pathfinder give me a few more options for the 'Dita crew. I'll be starting on Yan Lo next, I'm looking forward to painting different colours!!!
Malifuk
HA HA. Love killing these models every Thursday. Must say they do look good in real life too!
lusciousmccabe
Just seeing this thread for the first time, there's a lot of cool stuff in here! I like how your greens turned out, it's a colour I often struggle with.
