  1. I've got similar answer from Brian Gresham. I asked him for a new code. That was over a week ago. Got no answer until today, so I will wait or contact the customer service as you said. That's right. But no one said something about an expiration date in the email. I find it a little unfair because it's not MY fault. Why they didn't simply wrote this "clause" in there mail? Here in germany coupon codes etc. have normaly an expiration date of three years. Apart from that I find it sad if a company have not the good will to easily clear that problem. The amount of costs for this coupon are just "peanuts" for them. I spend a lot of money until today in this game and worked one month for this conetst. I mean, do you realy think that I will ever buy again something from wyrd if this story takes a bad end?
  2. No, I answered to the massage I've got in this forum for it, but I will try this email. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I've got a redemption code from wyrd for the onlineshop some time a go. (was the "burned offerings" contest and I won the crew category) The code doesn't work. Maybe because of the new shop system. I don't know. I've send a message to your "office" account, but maybe this account is inactive or something else? Can you help me with this problem? Thanks a lot!
  4. Excellent work! One of my favs! I'm actually also painting Pandora and will use some of your colors. Sadly, I can't paint at the moment, because the hot summer-temperatures let the ink dry too fast. Have a look at your great work!

I've used a high aperture and focused the center between front and back line. The higher the aperture the larger the field of sharpness you get. As lurtz said, the background was made in photoshop. I'm a professional photographer. The light setup was in my studio. But it's not necessary to get some nice photos of your minis. I could make a little tutorial in the forum, but I think there are enough in other forums, blogs etc. Didn't know how much need there is in the community for something like that. Cheers!
  6. Love your dark style. Excellent work man!
  7. I like this green style! Very good. The green with red details on the hut and the dynamite goes well together.
  8. I like the wendigo and raspy! Nice blending. For the ice I would prefer more white and brighter highlights. Like an icecube. Keep it up!
  9. I don't have an iPad, but something like "photogene" will do a good job. Didn't found photogene with iTunes, but with google you get the right link to the iTunes store.
  10. Much better You can also use a programm to finally correct the color levels, the white balance and a whiff of sharpen.
  11. I had some database errors this morning. Couldn't load the wyrd community sites or even login. The webstore was o.k. Meanwhile the problem or what ever it was seems to be fixed. Thanks!
  12. The drop shadows are fantastic! Yes, more light in front of the minis could be better. Your last photo shows it. Light and camera-view form the top do a good result. Like this and I can see more details/ brushwork.
  13. Light form the box could be more bright because the OSL on the clothing can't be as bright as the lightsource itself. Maybe some white and yellow mixed with the green you used for this highlights. The OSL on the face looks very good. Clean job!
  14. It's not up to your monitors. You have to change the picture resolution down to 72 dpi and width to 800 pixel (this are the contest-requirements) via a programm like photoshop or gimp. Even windows "paint" could do this job. On Mac the Picture-Viewer has also some options I think. ... somehting like "change size" Wyrd will not convert your picture to the right size. ..."If you send a photograph that doesn't fall within the limits prescribed above, we will ask that you fix this as otherwise your entry will not be accepted." Some tutorial searching with google and the problem is solved. P.S. I could easily do this for you in a minute, but I don't know if this would be against the contest-rules. :-/
  15. Very nice Flesh Construct! I had the same problem with larger parts and agree with Viruk. Especially larger skin areas needs much more time and are not as easy as I thought first.
