  1. Good morning Wyrdos, how are we all, are you all ready for Christmas yet? I myself have had quite a productive weekend which included painting my first three Wicked Dolls and putting up my Christmas tree, super excited now. Well you guys are clearly only here for the pictures but firstly here are some replies: Machiavelli: Thank you for your kind words. I have gone with the quartered paint scheme for the dolls, but I am starting to run out of colour combos already. Vikuk: Yeah I agree, they look so much cooler! Shadowdragon:Thanks for the advice, I will go do some research on this before I paint the next batch! Any way here is what I have been up to: And here are the first three Wicked Dolls done, sorry about the image, my camera phone seems to have washed the colours out. What do you think so far, suitable colours for the dolls? I will also need some help with some more colour combinations as I think Iv nearly done them all? Also do you think it would look odd if I used used coloured checks on the next few would they look out of place within the crew? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for reading. Andy - @Praetoriian
  2. Good afternoon Wyrdos how the devil are you? I have a minor project update for you guys. Let me know what you think. First of all what has happened within the hobby for me within the past couple of weeks. Well I attended my third Malifaux tournament at the weekend and yet again I picked up the spoon, WOW I really do suck at this game., need to find a new hobby . I may have come last but yet again I really enjoyed myself against ll my opponents. I’ll be honest, now I have been to three events my most favorite games have been against the top players within the community, and I would like to thank them for those great games, where I learned a lot and then didn’t remember them, obviously. Right I have decided yet again to start something completely new and very different to what I have done before. As I am signed up for no events in the future I have no pressure to finish my next project so will definitely taking a little more time with the modeling and painting. So here is where I am up to so far with my new project. Currently a pile of metal, wood and plastic but soon to be a Neverborn crew… So far I have built 6 wicked dolls, initially I was going to use the Relics range of puppets to build this crew but some people aren’t very agreeing with proxies so I decided to stick with the standard metal models for my Collodi crew. I have however done some very subtle conversions to the dolls to give them some more movement as the originals are rather static. Next up are the Marionettes. Let me know what you think so far. I do however need all of your help, I am fully undecided on a colour scheme, I do not want to go mucky and grimy like I have with my other Malifaux models and I would like to keep them clean and bright/eye-catching which I feel my past crews don’t do. I would like to do either a quartered or chequered paint scheme on the crew but I am undecided on the colours, what do you think? Thank you very much for reading. Andy - @Praetoriian.
  3. #1 Stay at the venue Saturday evening, BUT only if there is a bar open. #2 Try and keep it to the weekend so earlier/later starts/finishes Saturday & Sunday. #3 Food, I like both, Baked Pot or the Buffet! #4 Better to start early finish early, than start late finish late.
  4. Personally would say Seamus. All Malifaux art work I saw before even starting to actually play the game always showed him, so he to me is the "poster boy" of Malifaux. Andy

  6. Chris we will just have to pop to Element Games on Saturday, if that's okay with you? Andy
  7. Does anyone know if Element Games is open during the tournament? Want to use the opportunity to buy stuff whilst there? Thanks Andy
  8. Hey. Great work on your crews, looking really good. One quick question, how did you do the wooden floorboard effect bases? Thanks Andy - @Praetoriian
  9. I'll be there to pick up the spoon once again . Andy
  10. AWESOME, thanks guys, showing how often I play! Andy - Praetoriian.
  11. Right, I am stupid, and obviously crap at Malifaux (2 spoons under my belt, so far). But we will be playing 3 50ss games, fixed faction? Does that mean we can have a different 50ss crew picked from a faction pool each round or do we have to use the same 50ss crew for all three rounds? Sorry for my ignorance. Regards Andy - @Praetoriian
  12. More images: Dead Rider: Toshiro: Izamu: Corpse Markers: Sorry for the spam, but thats the whole crew. Thanks for looking/reading. Andy - @Praetoriian
  13. Good Morning guys. KOTEP: Thank you very much. NIGHTHATER: The 4x3 board will primarily be used to play Saga and Bolt Action, but when I do get to play some Malifaux on there Ill just Mark a set 3x3 section to play on. The reason I won't be able to play the metal models is because I suck at Malifaux lol. zFiend: Here you go.... Initiate photo spam of Yan Lo crew..... (sorry). The Asigaru: Punk Zombies: Yan Lo: The Niece:
  14. Good morning Malifaux. Well it's been a while, think I stepped out of the Breach for a little too long but now i'm back patrolong the rivers of Malifaux. Any way, why have I been away, I had to pop back to the real world as I have now moved in to my own house with the missus, so as some of you may know hobby time has fallen big time! The last time I posted on here I had just been to my first event and claimed the wooden spoon, now on to up to date news on my hobby within Malifaux. Firstly some replies: zFiend: Unfortunatley the Ramos stuff is getting sold due to me been super lazy and wanting to start new crews every other week, sorry. Valuri: Than kyou very much, that's the style I go for so happy with that. Though you will be seeing no Ramos sorry. MunkeyKungFu: Thank you, more to come, I promise. cdhay: Here look updated just for you . Nighthater: Thank you. with the board, it's not just for Malifaux so I thought 4x3 would be best? Thank you for you comments yet again. Right now on to what I have been up to, well firstly here is my folding board finally "done" I do need some more scenery especially for Malifaux games but it is okay for now: Next up is my most recent work within Malifaux my newest crew that I took to an event at the start of October and well I claimed the wooden spatula again. Need to rethink my Malifaux tactics . To be honest that Is all I have for you right now, I do have some individual pictures of the Yan Lo crew if your interested let me know. I'm also going to my third event in November so hopefully I can finally win a competetive game of Malifaux. Oh and here is a sneak peek of what to expect from me in the up coming months, yet another crew I won't be able to use . Thank you for reading. Andy - @Praetoriian.

  21. Good morning guys. Just a minor post for you on my progress, not a lot has been done due to real life but enough of excuses and on to some replies: ArcticPangolin: It's too late sir I have already made a start on the Ramos crew . James Littler: Thank you for your kind words, glad your enjoying the log, it's good to know atleast someone read it, good look in your local tournament. zFiend: They do look good altogether don't they . I believe the trick to gritty models is stop trying to be neat and just be a scruffy painter? ataraxianj: Thank you for your kind words. Right here is what I have been up to, I have fully built what I intend to use for my Ramos crew, I don't think I need to buy anything else for these guys just yet, I need to get some games in and see how they work, but I am looking forward to getting them on the table: Next is just an early WIP shot of two spiders, still lots off work to do on these, but I have 8 in total to paint: Finally here is a little side project to paint up for the painting competition #MFXTOP, held by @Psientologist, It's Pandora and her box chilling on a chunk of cork, more progress images to come: Thanks for reading and your continued support, I should have the first 2 spiders fully finished in the next couple of days, see you then. Andy - @Praetoriian.
  22. Can you put me on the interested list please, just need to check dates/travel before I can give a definite yes! Andy
