Mala Fide
I think it'd be interesting to have a bit of a shout around and see if people prefer gaming or the painting and modelling side of the hobby. For interests sake, I spend a LOT of time painting and would argue I prefer it to gaming (although its a very close call).
nilus
I'm a gamer first, Modeller 2nd, Painter third. I'd love to paint more but I don't have the time nor am I any good at it. I like tinkering with models and modifying them but if I got the time and another person to play with then I am gonna play.
nerdelemental
Mine are all pretty close. If I had to give them up, in the reverse order of what I'd ever lose would be: Painter Modeler Gamer Although, truly, without any one of them the others would quickly lose a lot of appeal for me. Megatron0
Gaming painting then modelling. I consider gaming the highest though i rarely play :/ because thats what i love the most!
Doctor Amos
I'm a theorist, mostly. Does that count?
AvatarForm
Modeller, Painter, Gamer here... though my skill level in all 3 would be Journeyman.
Bexley
Wait, you can play a game with these things too?
AvatarForm
Wait, you can play a game with these things too? Apparently so... although, IIRC Wyrd began making awesome sculpts before a set of Rules was applied... many of these sculpts are no longer available and I would love to get my hands on one of each if anyone has any... dgraz
Drunk posting....but I think gamer first, though painting is a really close second. Not much on the modeling side apart from making sure the models never break (pinning and such). wow that was hard.
Manicmac
Gamer, Modeler, Painter. But, as such, in order to properly play, one must first assemble and paint miniatures prior to playing, then one needs terrain to play on, so it should read: Modeler, Painter, Gamer. Talos
Painter, Modeler, Gamer. Although it changes with each game system. 40k I am very much a painter and modeler first. I just love the background ( although the newer stuff is awful) and the whole universe. I just loving converting and make awesome models. With 40k gaming takes a very large backseat, been collecting 40k for the last 4 years and played only 3 games. With Malifaux I am more a painter/gamer/modeler. I would maybe even put gamer before painter but then I only game with painted models, so I need to paint to play. I am not a modeler with Malifaux, there is no need to convert the models so I dont. With 40k I feel the models dont live up to the artwork or fluff so I feel I have to improve them, but not with Wyrd. With Malifaux I actually love the rules and try and find cool combos and tactics. With 40k I dont really care about the gameplay as I find it to simple so the only thing keeping me there are fluff and painting/modeling. Within 3 months of finding this game I was heading to my first tourney. I play Malifaux for the rules not just the story as with 40k. It does help that Malifaux also has amazing fluff so its a win win for me.
Pipeline
Painter. I paint stuff for games I don't even play. Player. I play Malifaux and Bloodbowl. Exclusively. Though I predict the Puppet Wars gets tacked on to that list. Modeler. I don't really model aside from pinning the sht out of my dollies and the odd base work. Pere_Marsh
modeler and a gamer... painting well look at my base coated models lol
magicpockets
I'm a gamer through and through. I find painting time consuming, boring and frustrating and only do it when I have to. Sorry to the hobby purists, but each to their own

Tuesday
Painter first, definitely. Then... well, the only game I really play right now is Malifaux (and occasionally D&D), but I do play Malifaux more than I ever sculpt/model anything. So.. painter, gamer, modeller for Malifaux at least.
Buhallin
80% gamer, 20% painter, modeler only to the 0.1% that is required to get the pieces to stick together reliably.
AvatarForm
Isn't Vasyl the only discontinued one? Edit: And if nitpicking then there's several of them with slightly different sculpts (VERY slightly).. Aside from the obvious, these sculpts would still interest me as a collector. Your point? TheOneWhoFell
painter gamer modeler Actually, I don't mod at all. I have no experience, and I tend to really like the way the Wyrd guys do their models....

XboxVrtigo
Gamer: 95% Modeler: 5% Painter: less then 0% I love to game whether it's 360, TT, board games, etc. Painting just isn't fun for me, I do not have very good skills and I do not have the patience to improve. It seems every time I sit down and tell myself to take time and do it right, the moment I screw up something it's immediate frustration and I walk away. In fact I'm trying to fire myself up to sit down and get my Malifaux figs painted but I have paint anxiety.
aka_hazard
I'd say I'm a Painter / Gamer and a bit of a Modeller. Modelling is usually on the terrain side of things rather than say, creating a new sculpt for an alternate Lelu, although I'm happy to re-position arms, add detail (moreso for Flames of War than Malifaux).
