  1. You responded passive-aggressive, then when I stated a fact you accused me of being aggressive. As already explained, you are within your right to fish for offers, but most Buy,Swap,Sell threads require an asking price or at least some form of numerical limits. I posted to provide such an example.
  2. I was posting here to give individuals a starting price so they had some idea. The OPs post is very ambiguous, without an asking price or pictures. In fact, the OP isnt sure if he wishes to sell. The OP is calling for offers, similar to an auction. Other forums would lock/delete threads like this.
  3. Just for the information of those interested. I offered AUD$120, double the RRP on this model, and was knocked back. This is the collector's value on an opened/damaged condition of this sculpt.
  4. I love the impish wings. I took the wings off a young neph and used them on Lilith... I really wish Wyrd had a bits service... like PP
  5. Lilith is about growth and such... why destruction? She creates illusory forests, but she also growths terror tots into mature nephs...
  6. Nathan confirmed... all nightmares will be METAL http://www.wyrd-games.net/forum/showpost.php?p=268281&postcount=162
  7. Oooh! It's out? Is it all metal, or part resin?
  8. Kindly provided by Turelio on OzPainters...
  9. Is it true that the GenCon Nightmare will be Dead Justice boxed set?
  10. Isnt this just a Nightmare Edition boxed set which can be played as either? If so, Im buying them all!
  11. Exactly. Also, similar to the GW Annual, the exploded view of the model and its components would assist greatly. #Please do not turn this thread into a discussion of the quality of the Online Store pics. We know not all of the paintjobs or angles do the models justice. You need to hold them in your hands.
  12. Butt hurt? Words of a troll, not a Henchman. The only posters defending the Wyrd sculpt are Henchmen, whose opinions are skewed due to their unique position as minions of Wyrd. Expecting any Henchmen to criticise Wyrd is like asking a GW Red Shirt to come clean about Fineca$t. White Knight it all you want, the proportions are out. Furthermore, please do not pretend that a warhorse ever was bred to have short legs. Unless you can provide a record that proves that mounted cavalry wished to move slower over short distances, I take any of your so-called horse knowledge with a large pile of salt. I also grew up with horses and your claims are as good as someone claiming academia on the Interwebs.
  13. Played it. Played ADnD2.5 for 5 years at Uni. As for this thread, the members on Dakka have suggested some very interesting builds. At present I am deciding between my Drunken Monk and a Half-Elf Swordmage.
  14. Will we ever see one? The hobbyist in me wants to see the various components of models before buying them. This is due to conversion ideas. In addition, this may also enable others to make decisions pre-purchase regarding assembly. You may also consider including a "glossy" gallery in it, similar to other ranges as a further selling tool.
  15. While I can understand your point of view, I still disagree with everything you have said. I have held the model and it is no better in person. Your comparison with Darksiders is not accurate. I own the official Concept Art book for that game and it is superior to the hooded rider. Further, I am not judging an apple in an orange contest, I am judging a sculpt for its merits and it has not passed inspection. Also, you can white knight all you wish, the fact remains that it is an amateurish sculpt. The points you have raised are weak defences. Please do not insult the intelligence of myself or other members by attempting to convince us using such transparent nonsense. I expect better from you, you do not work for GW.
  16. I must re-read the series if my recollection is slipping. Thanks for the update.
  17. In the Discworld series, Death's name is Mort. As to your comment on the Hooded Rider model: It was apparently a rush job: Pro's: -It looks like the concept art -It is on the appropriately-sized base Cons: -Mount proportions are inaccurate, resulting in a daschund-esque appearance. These include, too-short legs; overly-large head; ridiculously long head-tendrils/snakes; and armour plating that appears to be floating on the mount rather than attached to it. -Rider is similarly out of proportion. Appears too large for the mount. No neck/muddled head sculpt. -Rider's anatomy is all wrong. Arms at wrong angles. Overall, it comes off as amateur.
  18. These are very nice. They remind me of Space Marine scout paint schemes.
  19. Is that "Mort" from the Discworld range? I think MicroArt or Heresy do those... very cool!
  20. Hooded. Cos the present sculpt is rubbish. Also, this latest from McVey may end up coming with a helmed head and alternate weapon.
  21. Here is the latest from Studio McVey
