odinsgrandson
This is an original mini I sculpted for a Malifaux crew. He's going to be used as a stand in for the Dreamer. I think I got the Lord of the Monsters thing working out.

nix
As the customer who commissioned the sculpt, I can only say (in awe) that the model actually looks even better in person. Drew did a fantastic job and I am looking forward to painting him up.

Where the wild things are. At least that's the English title. I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw it. That's not a criticism, it looks fantastic. Mach_5
I'd have hard time believing you weren't going for 'where the wild things are', the resemblance is uncanny! Well done. Can't wait to see it painted!

odinsgrandson
very cool. now slap some paint on that mini. Alas, this mini is not for me to paint. I was commissioned to sculpt it, and my client will be painting it himself. So I really want to see him painted up also.

nix
I hope I can give him the painting justice he deserves. Max the Dreamer has hit my painting table (not hard) and is primed. I aim to have him painted up over the next week or so. I will put up pictures in this thread when complete!

Seriously good sculpt there. I'm looking forward to seeing him painted.

nix
Ok, breathe! With no further ado, I give you Max, the dreamer. I am not a professional painter, and I have to say that the sculpt was fantastic. I only hope my painting did the model justice.
