gerzel
I am wondering what figures everyone is looking forward to or would put on their wishlist for Wyrd's Malifaux. I for one would like to see the circus come to town. Given the quirkiness of Wyrd's figs I would think they'd do an outstanding job of a steampunk circus. Not sure I'd put them in any single faction though the idea of an undead colliape has its merits. Then again the neverborn would have a field day with the freakshow and just think what Marcus could do with a couple elephants...You'd need a base bigger than 50mm. That said I'd also like to see some Malifaux citizens put out, if only for scenario games. I'd especially like to see some miners, living belles (both high-class and prostitutes) and rich citizens. What else would you like to see?
Omenbringer
If Wyrd does a malifaux Circus there wont be any klawns (I think Nathan hates them and they are on the band word list). As for me I would like to see a Gremlin Preacher and a crew built around him (sober gremlins and a 50mm lynchmob for a start). Basically a non-hillbilly gremlin crew from someplace other then the bayou that emulates a pious god fearing settlement nearby. And for their hillbilly bayou cousins a sow that births, matures, and perhaps boosts (sorta like the res nurse) piglets. Already have some ideas sketched out if any one is interested (hint, hint :poutcha:)
Heldrak
While I like the suggestions for a Circus crew and for civilian models, I suppose that new stuff we get will be relevant to the future book(s). An Asian-influenced Ten Thunders crew sounds like a nice idea to me (or even several of them in a whole new faction). Also, I'd like to see some alternative sculpts for models you tend to need a lot of (Rotten Belles and other summoned undead, etc.). More/different base inserts, markers and terrain pieces would be very welcome as well.
Ciaran
Another construct master, an undead master and a soulless master.... Yeah, we want Leveticus to have more friends!
Omenbringer
An Asian-influenced Ten Thunders crew sounds like a nice idea to me (or even several of them in a whole new faction).Would definately like to see Misaki's friends come to Malifaux. kbdrand
I would like to see some more constructs for Archanists. Maybe something outside of the spider theme.
MadArcanist
I would say it but Nathan doesn't like Pirates either :-( Personally I would love to see a Thief of some kind...maybe an outcast master that has a cache XD...I know i'm just dreaming though
Q'iq'el
I would love to see some African themed crew. Perhaps a shaman with some warriors? Masai style or Zulu-alike, with long shields, spears, african masks and wild animal trophies (and ethnic tattoos!). Outcasts - an independent expedition that sneaked into Malifaux to bring some of them Soulstones to better the juju of the tribe's shaman. I think the potential for some great models is there and you hardly ever see African models in miniature games. Another idea is a Central-European themed team with some winged riders, lots of early fire arms and golem-constructing crazy alchemists for casters. The idea is to have some Western looking and armed guys, who'd still be different enough to be exotic in the Malifaux settings. For some inspiration, please read Wiki articles on Jan Zizka (we own him words "pistols" and "howitzers", never mind medieval TANKS!!! http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/community/uploads/emoticons/default_biggrin.png' alt=':D'>), the Golem (there's also Gustav Meyrink's novel about Golem which is an absolutely breath-taking read. Highly recommended.) and perhaps something on unique military formations of the area, like Winged Hussars, for some exotic but still Western looks. Melnibonean
An Asian-influenced Ten Thunders crew sounds like a nice idea to me (or even several of them in a whole new faction). I agree. Also more MS&U inclusions. Something other than the 3 available characters. For a large component of the Malifaux eccomomy and political climate the Union is very under represented. Maybe a Resser MS&U member with a Crooked Man theme or similar.
gerzel
Oh I'd like to add Gamblers. Especially if the gambler can do things with the fate decks, perhaps look at the top cards of an opponent's fate deck. Miners as well, but I mentioned them. Vehicles might be nice or mounted/horse rider versions of certain characters.
Iamwyrd
I think/would like to see, a whole new crew. Maybe like a crew that is religious based in a WYRD way!!!!! (Hint hint). Something along the lines of sacrificial needs to draw upon powers of the unknown. With cheap followers that the master uses to sac for better abilities or can summon monstrous creations that are from another realm. More extraterrestrial in nature. Or even a whole crew of cannibals that strive off of devouring others. With a ring leader that musters up the crew to be able to mob up an kill larger targets. Or just a human hillbilly crew that eats flesh to heal, and they all have boom sticks that r spittle more efficient than the grems. Who knows, the ideas are endless, but I have a feeling they dont want to steer too off course with things.
Major_Gilbear
I'd quite like to see an Arcanist crew based around a mad alchemist. It would also be a good way to get more MS&U members into the game, but without necessarily having them as Outcasts or Ramos-themed minions. I also agree with lamwyrd that a crew based around sacrificing models might be quite fun. I don't like the idea of a Circus though, it is overdone and frankly pretty tacky. However, some sort of dark and sinister theatre troupe might be more fitting for Malifaux, and would make an interesting crew for Neverborn I reckon - Wolves in Sheep's clothing if you will (or for that matter, The King In Yellow?) Danyeru
I would like to see more native american based models. I mean, we have Joss, but he's the only injun' I see. Malifaux is partially western, no? Add some savages or braves! Also, more (story and models) on the cult of december would be nice. Possibly another ressurectionist master with more... indulgent abilities. Like, sacrificing wounds to gather corpses or create zombies, only to turn around and heal him/herself with something along the lines of 'Live for Pain.' Give and take. : And personally, I don't think we need to ruin another fantasy world with ******. I would have to disagree. Edited June 21, 2010 by Danyeru oops. Manicmac
I already suggested to Nathan; There is more than one breach to Malifaux. . .Some Highlanders in the good Queen Victoria's service, getting the Union Jack out there old pip! Kilts and Pith helmets. . .Some Prussians monocles and pointy helmets. . .Russians, Chinese, Japanese, which are already there in spirit. . . Soul stones are out there for the taking, I would think the world would start making claims. . .
Aldyhide
I'd like to see some faeries for the NB. (Eeeeevilll faeries!) Perhaps a more Malifaux-esque take on La Belle Dame Sans Merci for a master. With macabre versions of characters from Brother's Grimm fairy tales as minions. A Corrupt religious leader would be nice for the guild, or pehaps the outcasts. Zoraida needs an apprentice too.
Gremlin Swarm
How about a crew of soul thieves? They kidnap people to kill them to recharge the soulstones they've stolen from various people/groups/places. Kind of a rival group with Samus in the notorious for horrible crimes department. Aldyhide
Oooh, oooh. The Guild needs a Lawyer too.

gerzel
Ooh Another thing I think Malifaux needs is cultists. Good robed cultists worshiping things best left un-worshipped. Also I'd like to see more Neverborn masters. It sorta strikes me that the guild has only explored a small part of the world that Malifaux occupies. It is probably one city of many. There probably are others, what if they are still alive? Also another nation opening a breach into the world of Malifaux would be nice. Especially thinking of what they'd need to do to get enough magical energies to open a rift. The first time people were desperate with a weak spot. What does it cost w/o the weak spot? Q'iq'el
Not criticizing, but aren't cultist more of the same thing we have everywhere else? As far as I can tell, outside crazy Tina, everything in Malifaux is about $ and power. A Soulstone-bashing TV preacher (secretly sucking off the soulstones he confiscated from the sinners) fits world of Malifaux better, IMHO, than any religious fanatic out there. Here you go, an idea for another goody-goody Guild master. P.S. And I'm not sure what sort of weed are the Irish pushing on your side of the pond, but Fearies aren't evil, sinister or even fun. Hello Kitty beats them 10:1 in the evil overlord scale (especially scoring in the areas of tasteless commercialism and corporate greed). Let's look for something new - Fearies have been done over and over again, just like cultists. How about sinister Cabeiri that steal the words of the tips of our tongues? How about the dream travelers, who sleep when we're awake and who dream our lives, bending us to their wills? People used to paint open eyes on their eyelids to pretend they are not asleep, as not to fall victim of one. There are so many things nobody ever done before we just have to spent a little effort looking for, and all we come with are faeries and cirque du freak? Weak! Well, there is already the Cult Of December, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a new model or two for that... Aside from that, do we really need more Cultists? I mean, I think they're cool and everything, but Malifaux sorta already has some.
Ciaran
I hope that the new Neverborn master is the Gorgon from the soulstone in the fiction. The other three Masters (mistresses?) even featured her in the conversation they had after the events of the story...

Have to agree on the faeries, there are a number of games and manufacturers doing such things, including steampunk faeries as mentioned earlier. gerzel
I'd also like to see more accessory packs/figures. More bases, but especially some scrap and corpse counters and bits to make such things. Corpse and scrap bits could also be used to decorate other models and figures. Horses, mounted figs and vehicles might also be nice to see though big.
