Finally getting colours onto models I’ve owned for a longtime. experimented with wet glaze blending on the wings. Not great but will do. all work so far. One of them is intended to recover what i did not paint on July 😓. I'm painting my obliteration crew at the moment as well - saw yours on instagram and though "oh man why couldn't i have had a cool idea like that!?". concept and execution 10/10!! @daemonkinvery nice work - I'm particularly enjoying the flesh tones on Barbaros - such a cool mini! @Hawkoonawesome work on Nekima - love the colour scheme you have gone with. the tonal values are lovely. @MestreGuilderiusvery lovely work on the Nephilim - loving the purples! @VirukLoving your work as always. i've been meaning to set aside some time to watch some of your streams to see if i can pick up some tips for using oils - hoping to do an iconic model later in the year using them. I've not had alot of time for painting this month but i managed to get a little done - speed-painted a few ten thunders models so that I had them ready for games. spent a little more time on Lynch and my Scion - I'm pleased with how they came out. I need to practice with my camera a little more as on uploading these they look a little blurry - i think probably due to a small aperture and wobbly hands - need a tripod probably! My Tara crew is being painted with the intention of being entered into the painting competition at UK nationals in November. So awakening the gremlin inside, I turned to swampfiends. I did finish up Bad Juju and the Kurgan in just 2 days (putting in the final touches late yesterday), but haven't gotten around to taking any decent photos yet. Edit: I belive I also promised a report on their performance on the table. As we were only playing henchman +10SS the games were rather fast, so i managed to put up 2 games in one evening. First game against Monteressor and a hanged was quite brutal, but I managed to squeeze out a 3-2 win even with both my models dead at the end of the game. The second game was against Manos and a komainu. Suuuuper atmospheric, absolutely love it! (Same on your Lynch2) @Gheist - love that Paper Tiger! And super cool idea for its base, half jungle, half library! @MestreGuilderius - I'm going to need to copy that red recipe you used for your BB Shamans - I always end up going orange, really cool how you kept it cool!
