Really excellent work! The painting is of a high standard but it's particularly impressive how you managed to have a fairly seamless continuity between the 3d elements of the foreground and the 2d background- it's really well done

Interesting take on a rain effect- I kind of wish it didn't obscure the model as much, which looks really nicely painted.

I'm not quite sure what's going on here but the execution is excellent, really great composition and painting. The background image is nicely done and the resin water effect is flawless. Lovely work!

Really beautifully painted and finished. Can't help but feel like a bigger base would allow for some extra details that help sell the story, but also the fact that's it all contained on a single malifaux base is very cool!

The lightning has come out really well here. It really amps up what is already a very dynamic model

Interesting choice to make the main part if the model monochrome - it works well and is well executed- the hair/water blends well into the base.

Nice choice of colours. The addition of the lightning is a cool idea- would have loved to see a little bit of osl off that

So good- I just want to chill with these guys! The presentation in a bucket is a brilliant idea as well!

Really cool effect, playing with scale and motion. That circular splash effect is nicely executed- gonna have to figure out how to do that- it looks great !
  17. both are different - calculate the possibilities can choose the same model multiple times, abandon honour has to choose different models.
  18. Hi Everyone! Starting at the beginning of March I'll be running a Malifaux Slow-Grow league in Gloucestershire (mainly around Gloucester and Cheltenham). Aimed primarily at new players (but hopefully with plenty of fun to be had by experienced veterans), the aim is to play 5 games over 15 weeks, starting with a 25SS crew which grows each round. Most players in the league will be new, so we'll all be learning together. We're not fixed to a single venue, so it would up to players to arrange between themselves a suitable location for their game each round. The rulespack is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZVzDwhHiqbLuIGIXTslTcT5olzAuMxbC/view?usp=drivesdk To sign up please fill in this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1i9gNN5bI1dX1BnQ1b9ctHp5grAhMvlxy3VXGwrrOEbM/edit?chromeless=1 We are asking for a £5 to sign up fee, which we be put towards prizes for the event as well as some entry swag which all players will get. This can be paid by cash in person or message me for PayPal details. If you'd like to sign up please message me and I can add you to our local WhatsApp group where you can arrange games and chat with other local players. If you are completely new to Malifaux, would like to see what it's about and are local to us in Gloucestershire please feel free to hit me up for an intro game- there is still time to try it out and get signed up to our league! If you have any questions let me know. Cheers James
  19. Thanks for organising this challenge for 2023 mate! Sorry to hear you won't be carrying it on, but it makes sense as there is only a few of us posting regularly now. I for one am very grateful that it existed when it did! - I've gone from painting maybe 1 or 2 models a year to being thoroughly in-love and invested again with the hobby I had always enjoyed. Wishing you well for 2024! This is the last mini I painted in 2023, it was a present for my brother for Christmas.
  20. Forgot to post this - pretty crap lighting as I took the photo whilst away and forgot to take my lights with me! I painted it for nationals painting competition, didn't win but actually really enjoyed working on a larger scale model. Tried out some of the scale colour range here is well which i really enjoyed.
