I'll throw up the name of the company that makes them. I've done this for my guild (using wooden flooring) and ressers (using cobblestones). I have some rough stones that I was going to use for my tara (outcasts) crews. The first of my resssers were done by trial and error, and the inserts aren't 100% round. as you can see in these pics, however, I have found the correct size 'template' to cut them from. This is using an Australian 10c coin. I (almost) always put on three coats of primer, first black from below, then grey from the top, finally white from wherever I want the light to hit. This is just a guide, everything will have to be painted in colours anyway, but make it easier to get the highlights right later on. Am I in trouble? See above for picture... My priming process is usually black, then grey black mix x2 then grey then white (or grey) prime colour prime mix. Everything in this pic (that I am aiming to do) has that done to different degrees so i'll split the list up and provide pics. So the colour prime job on most stuff winds up different depending what style im going for (bright / dark etc) but basically gets painted over with a base and glazes etc so I imagine others would have the same. I am assuming winds up being a 'does not count for this purpose' type thing but hopefully clears a few things up with what priming is. TO DO LIST! I know they do not count toward the score, but I'm putting them on my to-do list before 12/31 anyway.
