Ok so looking over the results we have Trapthem in 1st, Bengt in 2nd and everyone tied in third so no one will receive 3rd place if Trapthem and Bengt can send me their email address or Paypal I will forward them their cash prize. as a side note my personal life has gotten out of control and yes I've been abscent and I really don't appreciate snide comments by some people Frankly if you don't have anything good to say, shut your F@&&@! Dear Wyrdos....due to some very unforseen financial issues that i've been dealing with ive been neglecting my duties as head of this painting competition. It's been far too long that ive been away and i would like to apologize. As of right now, i will be putting myself out of this competition and will be concentrating on finding new employment. But please keep sending me PMs with your new models and i'll update the scores. Prizes will still be available. So dont worry lol

a tiny update....please drop me a PM when you post new photos of completed models. this way i can update the points as need be. Sorry i've been kinda distant lately. The hunt continues for new employment still.

OK so a little update, the company i was working with folded and canned everyone. So i wont be able to check this thread often enough as i should but do take great ease that the prizes are still up for the taking, So everyone paint hard, i'll be doing moreso now lol. Alright everyone, I'm glad to see everyone's progress. This week has made me realize that I think my first month will end up being committed to buying, building and priming. ...I guess I'm giving you guys a head start........or at least that the excuse I'm giving myself for now.

Looking good so far people. This weekend, I will be sitting down with the little misses and painting up her first model ever. She's already picked out 8 colors, Blue, yellow, Red, Pink, White, Magenta, Brown and Beige. SO to give you all a little tease of the model....."its in the Malifaux line of models"

Sorry for the confusion. What I consider primer is a single coat of black or white. Color primer I count as a layer of paint.

I'll be judging the points. And as for models.....its anything you do after June 1st....so you can buy models each day until then end of the year but as long as you paint them you'll score points then. You can buy models and assemble them but I wont give you points if they're not painted. And this I wanna see current photos of your stuff. If I see painted stuff, then those models wont count!

You can keep buying stuff and adding to your stretch goal for the end of the year. Example. I have a tone of stuff still in box....As I paint stuff, i'll also be assembling. When they're done assembling i'll post more pics of more models and paint those aswell. As I finish them i'll score more points. Nothing can be painted before June 1st. I'm going with an Honor system right now and trusting people will stand by my word and not paint until then. If I feel like something's afoot, I will withdraw points and or the pirzes. I'm implementing this competition to help people get motivated in painting. The only thing I'm not scoring is terrain...there's no way for me to allocate points per building size

Its to keep you guys anxious to paint. I know its still 2 weeks out, but please be honest and do not start painting any models. I know it's tempting and the fact that there are prizes but since I'm the one dishing them out id like people to respect me and my wishes to hold off on painting.
