  1. This should update if you start the app while connected to the internet - metadata has been updated to mark her correctly.
  2. Got the screenshots, nothing further is needed.
  3. Hello all, despite the last 2 versions of the app being accepted by the Apple reviewers, they have blocked 1.0.3 (the one that corrects the cloud storage location) because they suddenly decided the iPhone Xs screenshots weren't good enough. Would someone be willing to provide screenshots that match the 5.5" ones on the App Store, except in the 6.5" dimensions of an iPhone Xs Max? Thanks, DZ
  4. This request popped up during development. I think the main reason I didn't tackle it is because I can't picture how it would look or behave. If someone did some design/UX mockups then we could always add it to the request list of potential follow-up work.
  5. Investigating a bug where iPhone and Android users could not connect to the same network game has led me to an unfortunate oversight on my part: I missed updating the cloud project that the iOS build points to before publication, and iOS is still pointing at the project I used for Beta only. Update 1.0.3 on iOS is going to correct this error, but it unfortunately means that some of the crews/games/setups you've created up until that update may be lost. You'll also have to re-register your email/password if you chose that signin option. Since data is kept both locally and on cloud, some of your local stuff (non-network games) might survive the update and re-sync anew, but no assurances. Very sorry for the oversight, it's 100% my fault. Hopefully since it's only been out for a day, nobody is losing too much
  6. I think the Web-based one will be done pretty soon, just working out navigation with the URL bar mostly at this point so that when you refresh a page it keeps you where you're at.
  7. That link works for me, please try it again. As for the splash screen, I think this is an issue with people who have weak connectivity when they start it the first time. Basically, when you start the app, one of a couple things happens depending on your internet connection and history: 1. You have no internet connection, which means it uses the built-in model metadata file packaged with the app. 2. You have already started the app with an internet connection in the past, and you have already downloaded the most up-to-date model metadata from the cloud. 3. You have already started the app with internet, but there is a newer version of the model metadata available, so you have to download that. 4. You start the app with a weak internet connection and have no local version of the metadata, so you download it. It's number 4 (or some combination with 3 and 4) that's the issue here *I think*. The problem is that it's trying to get the more up-to-date model data, but because the connection is slow, it's taking a long time to download it despite just being a plain text file (albeit a longer one - 1.5MB). If this is the case, I would suggest either starting the app with internet turned off (in which case your model data will be a bit out of date, due to fixes I've already made since launch), or make sure you have a good connection when you start it so it can download the file the first time, and then you should be OK. If this doesn't describe you, then the issue is something else I'm not sure about. I'll look into some kind of timer on the downloads where it'll default back to the local version after a certain time.
  8. Some of this comes down to iconography - determining an icon that universally means those things can be trickier than it sounds. (In box is probably easier but "in progress", not so sure) We had a hard enough time landing on a symbol that means "owned" and I'm still not sure that is obvious to most people.

    Blurry cards

That is the standard resolution of the images in the app, and as stated, the cards would otherwise take up a very large amount of space. The idea of allowing external storage was brought up look 12 hours before the planned launch, which was already in motion. It's something that could be looked into it the future.
  10. The app has been approved after my strongly worded response to their last request for information. But it said it can take up to 24 hours to show up in the store after approval :/. Kyle will likely post when it's actually available for download.
  11. Apple's reviewers are being... very thorough, but have no understanding of the game or how it is played. So they keep asking questions and for more information, or for help understanding functionality. That's what is causing the delay.
  12. Oh no, we reduced the size of the images specifically for that reason.
  13. Someone during the beta said that altogether the app & cards after downloading them all was 886.1 MB. A request came in to store cards in external drive like 2 days ago, after the launch was already in motion. It's something that could be looked at in the future.
  14. This might be worth a help message.
  15. Tap the "done/save" icon on your keyboard when done editing a name. There's a weird framework issue here, though this sounds common enough to revisit trying to fix it. Curse my hubris! I reworked part of these icons last week to take advantage of some new framework features, but I obviously missed this test. Coming in 1.0.1.
  16. There is a weird framework issue here that's tough to get around, but when you're done editing the name, tap the "done/save" icon on your keyboard instead of just dismissing it. That should save the name.
  17. The crew builder page was the toughest in terms of making the usage intuitive without cluttering up the screen. If you aren't sure how to do something, you can re-play the tutorial by tapping the "?" icon in the upper right.
  18. This never made sense to me in BTH either, so trust me it was at the top of my list when designing the project :).
  19. I have no idea. How else will they be packages? They're trying to reduce SKUs, and I assume instances like this would be perfect for allowing/encouraging people to Branch out.
  20. You could grow a model on turn 1 if you have Nekima Hurl Corpse at your own unit, cause she can have a nearby model eat it as a trigger.
  21. I got some Fenris Wolves to proxy for them until I can finally get my hands on some. Been looking for several months.
  22. Should be back up in a 10-20 minutes.
