You could strip her or even try to partially strip her (i've seen it done with some qtips and some stripping agent of your coice, sterilium, simple green,...)

Tbh, i'd go with Magenta/purple since you have so little contrast on these models, being yellow close to the skin and such, that i'd go complementary in order to add some visual interest.

Well it was that or death by mob. And it is very in character for Lynch to go with what benefits him in the heat of the moment. Kinda what got him into that position in the first place. "Want to work for me or be eaten right now?" Easiest decision he ever made.

Can only echo that. Terracutter were sooooo sweet tokens. Got a good collection of those including spinning counters for burning and stuff. But could still improve on some conditions.

Sth nexus doen't like at all are shockwaves and blasts if everything kind clumps together to mitigate dmg and stuff. There are a lot of low movement attributes in Nexus. The best beaters Nexus has are the bersetker husks which can be creted by replacing an eyes and ears at the start of the activation of Meredith Stanley (also needs a web or corpse marker). But they too are so slow (mov 4, send in the shockwaves and stagger them to mitigate their creep along free action). And remember Nexus is now SZ3 so can't hide behind anything in her crew (except mb Emissary) AND needs LOS now to draw LOS and Range from another Cadmus model. Yea she can shove off one damage to her own models but at mov4, df 5 she's absolutely killable. Remember her Upgrade allows her to target two of her own Models at the endphase to do stuff (general non-charge action) which can depending on trigger be an attack oder an interact action IGNORING insignificant. Some things you have very much going for you is - at least to my ecperience - cadmus hates corner Deployment. With the low movs it's hard to properly unpack. He'll have a hard time getting leylines captured after the first. There are not many pushes in crew (rember eyes and ears have a lure!) but rather place shenanigans. Creep Along needs a friendly model in the direction he want's to push into (including your parasited models which can only be considered friendly during a models activation). So you'll probably have a good time if you can claim the symbols good and hinder him some. But remember the lure of the eyes and ears (and that they are considered activated now when they are summoned). Also the parasite dmg is no longer irreducible, so you might consider the big boy again with the healing you are planning to take with you and reform from ice he'll be quite nice of a distraction if you shove him into your enemies early (remember Tinas new free action which can put some serious speed into the icy boy [2" from the created marker, push 4", place in 2", easy place 8" further up without big boy even walking once]).

Yes i find it very enjoyable. It has a nice simplicity to it while offering things to uncover and unpack. Also for as straight forward as the mission goal ist (in normal play) the random distribution and depth of the stones makes for nice different play experiences. But i've got to admit, that i feel a certain amount of motivation towards painting some malifaux too since dropping out of an upcoming tournament and having played another round with Mr. Cooper yeasterday.

Damn that's some speed and quality at the same time and i can barely find motivation and time, or more likely motivation period because if i'd be i'd make the time, to sit down and brush some. And i even got fancy new paints (LGS stocked the Scale 75 artists paints and oils and how could i not grab some when i love the normal paints already?) but what motivation i can find goes to Moonstone atm ^^'

It would, but then there comes the kin with flinch which triggers on stat which would be falsely triggered by using the chi as described.

Absolutely. Preferences and mileage does vary a lot from person to person. I'm currently in the process of getting myself a Nightmare Circus table for Mr. Cooper mostly printed. Something akin to the plasticraft one. And i love the Details and painting it to my preference (Photo WIP)

Yes very nice. There's just worlds between the wip and this image. These look so much nicer.

I can - as a very real world example - tell you of my self and why i dropped Wild West Exodus. Because of too frequent updates. I got around to play a game maybe every other month, maybe every three month. And almost every time i got to play i had to reprint the cards, reevaluate what my units could do (mostly buffs usually cause Warrior Nations weren't that good) and that annoyed the heck out of me so i dropped out of the game and stopped playing WWX entirely. Also i see in our local meta ppl who are annoyed when they buy the nice n shiny boxes and come to the table and get informed, hey that particular card has been errata'ed. Not everyone is so involved with the game to even KNOW that there are regular errata, that the cards can be downloaded or that an app exists. Yes those players are unlikely to ever show up at a tournament but from what i see in our local meta and other metas tournament players are actually minority which is disproportionate vocal due to being active in things like this forum.

Gonna have to disgree. My local games store (Top Tables) does order from Wyrd every month pretty much as soon as the new releases are a go to order (which usually is towards the end of the month of which they are announced for) for the new stuff and for restock and usually gets the stuff pretty soon after. They don't have an online shop as of yet because of issues with the merchandise management and the online store but they're available via email and are shipping our plastic crack too.

So i went over to your carver. What i think he has and is thus far missing with your sorrows ist contrast. Your carver has some nice warm/cold contrast on his pants, light/dark between the crows and his tan shirt. Also the red specles with the tan shirt again works well and is contrasted by the blue part of the pants as well. With the current picture of the sorrow i don't see these nice contrasts there. Maybe that helps with what you want to do to make them mesh together and still pop. Personally i think i'd try to use some of the cloth to replicate or do sth similar to the pants on the sorrows too.

Well i don't say that most people do but it is a lot more prevalent than it used to be and much more accessible. Which is why i think more ppl are backing stl kickstarter than physical stuff. Also you only have to print what you need and can store the rest digitally without taking up physical space. I love printing nice detailed stuff, physically detailed which mdf somewhat struggles with but is a fine compromise between cost and detail.

So, as promised starting picture for this month goal. Just a coupla stones 😅

I so hate that sculpt... Also the new Viks... Ashes and Blood will probably stay my fav Viks for a while. Also i've seen sbdy put Ashes and Blood on a 50mm base, that looked so good and fitting.
