  1. Why should you have to spend 2ss? You are already giving as a fact that you don't have high rams or tomes in hand? Because if you have 2 high cards, the chance that at least one of them be a tome OR a ram is quite high, so you should only need one ss. Although you can make things look worse by always choosing the worst chances to happen.
  2. Well, out of about 40+ non-totem 4ss models in the game, I've only found 2 insignificant models. And almost all of them can actually do something real apart from interacting to drop scheme markers. There's some really good models, and some less useful, bit It's difficult to find some model worst than the WP. So no, being non-insignificant don't mean being worth 4ss, since there's also more non-insignificant 3ss models than insignificant. EDIT: in fact, of 13 non-totem 3ss models in the game, only 4 of them are insignificant, so there's more than double non-insignificant models. If you add the totems then it would be 7 insignificant models out of 22, so more than triple, but totems are costed weirdly so I would remain on the non-totem data (still 9 vs 4) So no, 4ss only for being non-insignificant is far from being a good deal, unless it can do something else, wich WP can't.
  3. I spend two 10+ to make them fast. How many ss would you pay to have 1 scheme marker near Benny and giving your opponent 1 pass token each turn? Do you think 4ss are worth it?
  4. Winged Plages are plain bad as they are now. Having players (like me) hiring them doesn't mean they are fine. As anyone who has been playing this kind of games for some time would know, there's always someone playing even the worst models. Giving them some utility wouldn't break the game. As has been sugested before, Fly With Me would make of them an ok scheme runner.
  5. Well, if Hamelin could summon Stolen as in M2E, somewhere could be an option to kill a rat and then replace one Stolen with a Winged Plague, o replace both models with a WP. It should be on Hamelin, but he's already strong enough and has many things to do, so maybe in Benny or in the Stolen themselves
  6. That was exactly my suggestion at some point. Even the rat-carrier joke xD. I use to hire two of them, but only to drop scheme markers near Benny helped by Unclean Influence. At third round or so they can try to run to score something or to deny some points, but really don't feel like a good option. They're too slow, weak and squishy to do anything. One of the worst 4ss models in the game, imho.
  7. You forgot Dispatcher should be nerfed.
  8. Well, the only kw that takes advantage of enemy scheme markers are the bandits, and since Bandit Raid only allows to shoot friendly bandits, it's like Parker is going to drop a lot of enemy scheme markers without really any use for them out of running himself up to them and turning them into cards/ss, wich I really am not sure how easy/efficient is gonna be. Simply curious of what he is doing out of kw (although sincerely am also not sure what is his purpose/role in kw neither)
  9. Wich use do you think Parker has when hired out of kw?
  10. As a Freikorps player with all the M2E models plus the old M1E metal Trapper, I can understand you. Now, if I want the new third Freikorpsmann, the two new Scouts, the new Drachen and the new Librarian I must basically buy again the whole crew. 14 miniatures. 140$ for 5 minis that I want and 9 minis that I already have. So I'm not gonna finish my freikorps collection because 1 I can't afford it and 2 I don't want to buy again the models I already have painted.
  11. Yes, Parker Barrows has it. And no one else.
  12. Drop It is also the only source of enemy scheme markers for Bandits, who also relies on them but have no safe/sure/easy form to succeed on it. I think it should be something like "you force the target to drop an enemy scheme marker anywhere within x inches" Maybe 1" Or 2", but you choose where, to not make easy to your opponent to take advantage of it. Specially since the crews that has those triggers needs them.
  13. Then some kind of "only mercenary" Action/Trigger. Also, I think Big Jake "Unexpected Return" Should state that the summoned Big Jake is considered as being the same model than the one killed.
  14. Taleor has never been Sister. The worst thing about the Mercenary keyword ia that they really don't feel like a crew at all. They're a bunch of people that really don't help each other very much, but someway do the same thing (mostly, run and beat). There's no interaction between them. There's no advantage for playing in-keyword. I understand that not every crew need to have wholesome mechanics or intricate sinergies, but at least the Mercenary could have more diversity in their options. Or, at least, a little push to those mercenaries that don't do the same. Desperate mercenaries changing their damage track to 2/3/3 or 2/3/4, and loosing the ignore cover part, would become a regular support adition. Even doing flat 2 damage would be an improvement. Both Student of Conflict and Big Jake could get some help to be seen a bit more. SoC some little boost to do something more than give fast, and not sure what is Big Jake's role.
  15. But, although Taelor likes party as anyone, but I don't feel she has a lore so focused on being drunk as to justify so many shenanigans with drinking.
  16. It's a difficult question, IMHO. First, I would avoid that "extra attack" Mindset. It could be improved many ways. Give her Hammer a suited ram. Improve her Bring It stat and give some trigger with extra attack (rip & tear, for example) Change Welcome to Malifaux for "Whenever a model is summoned in this model's LoS, this model may discard a card to push up to 7" Towards that model and take an attack action against that model" Probably the last two together would make a good deal.
  17. It depends on the flow of the game, but in my case I use to play with 2 Winged Plague. The first turn they are fast and drops 4 scheme markers, and after turning them into rats, Hamelin makes them drop 2 more for the next turn with Unclean Influence. The second turn they can drop 2 more and after the summoning repeat for the third turn or maybe run to try to score on the third turn (although I try to not choose spreading schemes for this crew). Only with the WP and Hamelin there's an easy generation of 4 rats per turn, plus any verming killed there drops a scheme thanks to Benny.
  18. You need: 7+,7+,7+,6+,6+, 5+, 5+, 5+, discard 1 card Not very reliable.
  19. I would recommend you to not risk and flip/cheat two 10 with the 2 first stolen Because the third stolen only needs a 6 to make a rat fast, and then you would have a fast focus+7 rat king
  20. But then it wouldn't sound as "he's sooooo broken compared with Guild profiles" as it sounds with "automatically"
  21. Yes, but I mean there's some crews that rely on focus/positive flips to do damage, and those crews are more affected by HtW, but Bandits are a crew who usually makes lots of shoots instead of fewer focused shots, so while HtW affects, they're less worried about it, I think.
  22. I feel like Bandits damage rely more on firing a lot than to doing high damage flips, so I wouldn't say Ressers are specially hard to play against.
  23. Never thought about it, but one viktoria with SoDP is enough to make both enjoy the Herald, thanks to Sisters in Spirit.
  24. Well, since auras only are applied when starting activation at 6" and 3", I can bet you don't put any blight with them in the first turn, and only on a couple models in turn 2 unless you're facing a quite inexperienced player. Yes, lure with crows puts blight. Let's count you spend two actions, and two ss to stack blight, and you have the awesome luck of flipping two crows. So Hamelim can spend his third action in Bleeding Disease and do 6 damage. Full activation of a Master for 6 damage doesn't sounds broken. Of course the rest of the crew plays. Nix can put also some blight with his bite, wich in the other hand does an unimpressive 2/3/4 for an 8ss model. Building 1-3 blight on many models is not so hard, as long as they are close tho your crew, but stacking high amounts of tokens requires big effort and resources that other crews use simply to erase models from the table without so many complications.
