  1. Had this come up yesterday. A model has Shielded +2 and Armor +1. The order of use is important because shielded can reduce damage to 0 where armor cannot. We could not find anywhere where it was spelled out - as all damage reduction happens at the same time. We house ruled to do what ever is most beneficial to the defender (use armor, then shielded).
  2. Played my first game yesterday. the Cards are indeed nice - and you can use dry erase markers on them. Only gripe is the dry erase actually comes off of them a little TOO easy if you are handling the cards. I have been unable to find travel deck boxes for tarot cards though (outside of europe), so that kind of stinks.
  3. forgot to upload this last night - hope its not too late Pandora 15pts
  4. Painting a Master. I think we said they were 15ss. Pandora
  5. I have been running him since he came out as my only Master, just to try to get used to him. Zipp himself makes a pretty good assassin (attacks against opponents HT) These same attacks can move models up to 5", so can get pesky models off objectives or out of the way He can also give some models a movement boost (CA push for 8") Excellent DF/WP trigger to try and keep him safe i have tried both of his limited upgrades, really only choosing one over the other depending on what faction I am facing. Like all crews, the models he sells with work pretty well with him, but i do not see any of them as Auto-includes. You will want 1 or 2 Sky Pirate models just to reap the free upgrades they can get from Zipp, unless you feel you have to run something different. First Mate is great at taking down opponent scheme markers. This can really help against all of the newest Masters. You could run schemes with him too, but Merris is a better option. All of my gremlin lists tend to start with a Taxidermist and 3 stuffed piglets. Strategies are the only things that would keep them off the table.
  6. Thanks. I will take some "Glamour Shots" of these models sooner or later. Wasn't sure if it was really visible in this picture or not. This was my first attempt at OSL
  7. Here are my models completed for the Month: Pere Ravage 6ss Burt Jenkins 7ss 13ss total = made my henchmen pledge
  8. the photo quality is much better, but you would be better served with a darker background. Try a large sheet of black, or dark grey construction paper. I think your highlights are getting drained out with the white field.
  9. Here is what I plan to paint this month: Pere Ravage and Burt
  10. I manged to get the Stuffed piglets done: 6x Stuffed Piglets 12ss
  11. I would probably be willing to sell my second one. Not sure that I would ever use more than one in a game.
  12. this model is the alternate Santiago sculpt. She would qualify as Limited Edition. She will fetch a good price. Best of luck.
  13. @iamfanboy it looks like you are going straight from the base color, to a wash of nuln oil (or some other black), is that correct? I would recommend trying a three color scheme; where every color is made up of three different colors. This would be a deep shadow, then the mid tone - this is the actual color you want the area to be, then a highlight. You can then use a wash to knit the three layers together. This will make the colors more dramatic. Just some food for thought -- what you have already done works great for tabletop.
  14. Hello all, Here is the WIP for my pig painting test. I am happy with the results will continue on with the other piggies.
  15. That's fun. I like the skeleton in the sarcophagus
  16. More gremlins in my future: 6 Stuffed Piglets (12) Pere Ravage (6?) Will upload some pics
  17. Put me down for a henchman. I might be able to do more, but this will be my first time trying.
  18. Thanks for the compliments. I actually wrote an article for the golden d6 web magazine (www.gd6mag.com) issue #11 on how I painted this crew. This was my first time painting flame and smoke.
  19. Reading through some of the other players comments on Zipp, it seems Stuffed piglets are in my future. Started with the Taxidermist. These are fun models.
  20. Mechanized PorkChop. Thiniking i will like running more constructs with Earl and Sparks:
  21. Nice Job. The tusks definitely lend the Boar like feel. Would be cool to have the hair on the spine growing the opposite direction
  22. I found someone elses hounds here on the forums the other day that I really liked:
