Finalizing said above, i would suggest something like this: 50 SS Gremlins Crew Wong + 6 Pool - A Gremlin's Luck (1) - Do Over (1) Old Cranky (4) Sammy LaCroix (7) - Ooo Glowy (1) Burt Jebsen (8) - Dirty Cheater (1) Swine-Cursed (7) Swine-Cursed (7) Lightning Bug (5) Lightning Bug (5) This crew can fight, and can do schemes, both. And leaves you 3SS to modify it. You can take only one Bug, and it will leave you 8SS for another beater or support model, depending on what you need. In my experience, this is kinda jack-of-all-trades crew, good almost for anything. (Just don't try to fight von Shill with Wong).
  2. Both masters are not very good for newbie. You better find Zipp or Opelia for first starter. Also buy Burt Jebsen, he's a must for almost any master we have. Mah needs big beaters to work well, and they are in other starters. Like Mancha Roja, for example. Mah's minions are quite crappy. And brewmaster is just, well, complicated. Don't get me wrong, tho, both masters are good. Mah is my favorite master, and she's good. Brewie is really fun, and with new GG18, upgrades and errata he became competitive and fun, but still, you'd better find Zipp or Ophelia. Wong works good to. Don't buy Sommers or ulix tho, they need Hella lot of models with them. And by Burt regardless of master you are buying, you will not regret it. I hope I was helpful. Sorry for broken English.
  3. Oh, oh, and I forgot bout Pere! Just wait till late turn one, activate Ophelia, place junk marker near enemy crew, pull Pere with "Ooo, a girl", then throw him with Jug Rocket. Activate, push to junk marker, and now, as you are 20+" away from your deplyment zone, and among enemy crew(You can reckless and walk one more time) you just KABOOOM, killing everyone around(Like, TN 13 Defense duel to everyone within 6" or they will suffer 5 damage. 2 times. Then 4 dmg more. FC's WILL be dead with 3 Df.) Just make shure you have 2 6+ tomes.
  4. Hm. I know my opinion will be kinda unpopular, but still. It's not about the models, it's about skill. FC is 3 and 2. 13 wounds are not much compared to gremlin damage. HtW is easily avoided by focusing. You can control FCs with Sammy, you can burn the hell out of them with Merris + Ophelia's hooch igniter(Burning not only them, but everyone around. You can place ALOT of burning this way. Like 6 burning from Ophelia, to a target and anyone up to 6" away from target. Merris can place even more). You literally can do anithing with them. With careful placement and The Kin's new mobility tricks - FCs are not scary at all. Ophelia can kill FC at ease with her pluses and stones, stilted Franc have minimum dmg of 12(per activation) w dumb luck, and can act immidiatly after Ophelia. If you want to buy new models - Burt and Gracie are always bold choise. If you want to play only against ressers - buy Wong, Burt, SwineCursed, Old Cranky and Sammy. That would be more than enough. You don't even need Mancha(Insta gib trick is good, tho). Sammy with "Ooo Glowy", Burt With magical and DC, Cranky, 2 Swine Cursed and 1-2 Bugs. Wong loooooves low df enemy models. And with his ca7, if enemy takes 2 flesh construct from the begining and fail with deployment - Wong can wipe half of an enemy crew with blasts and pulses at the start of turn 2. I did this alot of times. 2 low def models(htw is pain, tho) in enemy crew is an opportunity to use Lightning Jump alot of times in single activation, blasting and pulsing everyone near low df models. Sorry for my broken english.
  5. Imo, they were designed for Mah. 7CG is good, but without pushes it's really hard to set them up for decent damage. I took them a lot, lately, and they are pretty good against heavy armored models(Not as good as bugs, tho) and models that rely much on htk. (Minimum 4 dmg from diffirent sources.) Also, "I yeld" is situationaly awesome. Whan you are untargeteble, you still can engage enemy big beaters, and attack them again next turn(assuming you play Mah and cheat initiative). So, imo, they are good replacement for Bugs, but they are Mah-only, just like Swine-Cursed are Wong only. (Yeah-yeah, i know you can use them with other masters, but there are always better options). Sorry for my broken english.
  6. Hello, guys. My question is quite simple, actually. Would "Makes no sense" aura counter Frame For Murder? If enemy sucker is killed in aura, will it score? Same for enemy master, will you get VP for Eliminate Leadership, if master is killed in "Makes no sense" aura?
  7. Manipulative is not the point of my statement. WP duels for Challenge then? Terrifying? Should you pass these dueld before you take flurry tactical against the target(With said abilities)?
  8. Following that logic, if you flurry manipulative model, you should take WP duel 4 times. Seems not legit to me.
