  1. Apart from the standard "dont build standard lists, build to the strategy, schemes, enemy faction and board layout" comment, I have a few suggestions I think Mad Haberdasher is too expensive for what it does, but your mileage may vary. I'd consider including the the Copy Cat Killer, his gun is quite good and since he can teleport to Seamus as a 0 action, he can often focus or just shoot twice, if you dont end up out of range after the first shot, to compensate for his low Sh. Using Canine Remains for digging up corpses costs high crows, which you'll need for Seamus' summoning too. And for teleporting. I generally dont focus much on summoning with Seamus and if a corpse marker appears (and I dont want to use it for Distraction) its usually too close to other models for a Belle to be useful, so I tend to summon Dead Doxies instead. I think its better to use the Canine Remains to run around dropping scheme markers, both for schemes and Home Ground Advantage. Finally I like to start with more than one Belle, 1. to make sure you can force enough willpower tests on your opponent to keep Seamus healed, 2. to force your opponent to discard some cards and 3. to rearrange your opponents models, to make it easier for Seamus to line up good targets. I'd go with something like: Seamus -- 6ss +Red Chapel Killer - 1ss +Sinister Reputation - 1ss Copycat Killer - 3ss Canine Remains - 4ss Madame Sybelle - 8ss Nurse - 5ss Rotten Belle - 5ss Rotten Belle - 5ss There's room for an upgrade or two on Sybelle. Alternatively you could go with a melee build instead, where you give Seamus Bag O' Tools, bring Izamu with Unnerving aura and use Belles to pull the enemy in close.
  2. My thinking is that McMourning and Rafkin are the heavy hitters in the list. Rafkin gets scary when attacking a poisoned target, which the Autopsies are there to provide. I hadnt thought about their Ceaseless Advance, its a (big) added bonus to their usefulness I agree that two nurses are overkill for most lists, but (other than keeping $$ down) they can heal and move both Rafkin and the Guild Autopsies around. I didnt give Rafkin Transfusion because I'm currently thinking that fishing for big Expunges might be a trap and I want him spending his actions attacking. Since OP only has 1 Flesh Construct, I'd be worried that more Transfusion might lead to too much summoning. I'd consider Decaying Aura for Rafkin though as it would increase his damage output against Soul Stone users, though its expensive.
  3. Vorschlag made an excellent point about McCabe and Lynch both being dual faction Ten Thunders. If you want Lynch down the road McCabe will boost your model pool for both factions, he makes the most sense both short and long term *edit*On second thought, the same points could be made about Lucious too, since both he and Lynch are dual faction Neverborn...*edit*
  4. Body proportions are beyond me, I just think its an amazing model I'd give her a cloak though, its part of the Trapper "look". Maybe something more flowing and robe-like?
  5. I agree its not a perfect list, its optimised to be playable with as few purchases as possible I prefer something more like this: Resurrectionists 50ss Crew McMourning -- 5ss +Moonlighting - 1ss +Spare Parts - 2ss Canine Remains - 4ss Flesh Construct - 6ss Guild Autopsy - 4ss Mortimer - 9ss +My Favorite Shovel - 2ss Nurse - 5ss Rafkin - 7ss Sebastian - 7ss +Those Are Not Ours! - 1ss +Transfusion - 1ss It requires Nicodems box and a Rogue Necromancy. Mortimer could be replaced by a couple of Crooked Men and you could drop Spare Parts, but its still more expensive $ wise than the other list.
  6. Is money a concern? How do you feel about branching out into other factions? Hoffman will want Arcanist models, Lucious wants Neverborn, McMournings box includes 2 models you cant field when you play him as a Guild master and McCabe might want Ten Thunders models. Are you looking for more Masters to play or is getting more minions (like the Death Marshals) a priority too? Hoffmans box offers some good minions but you'll want to pick up extra constructs (Ryle, Peace Keeper, Wardens, Metal Gamin, Ramos' box set) to run him efficiently. Lady Justices box offers Death Marshals which makes Papa Loco a much stronger option and I think the Judge is a popular henchman in general (though not as popular as Francisco, but who is?). McCabes box offers wastrels who are a bit meh, but Sidir sees a lot of use with different masters. Personally I'd recommend McMournings box, but then I'm a filthy Resser. He likes Witchling Stalkers for the conditional removal (he has a tendency to poison his own crew) and he can augment most Guild models (He's my prime candidate for making Executioners work). The main downside to McMourning is that his box doesnt contribute to your Guild model pool, nothing in his box can be fielded with any other Guild master.
  7. Its pretty explicit here http://www.wyrd-games.net/yan-lo "His niece Chiaki floats behind them". I think she's got the Ancestor characteristic for mechanial reasons too, and maybe because it was too weird to give her a Successor characteristic and ruling that Successors counts and Ancestors
  8. Any Arcanist master and the the RatJoy engine? Kaeris with some of Sonnias thematic crew or Sonnia with Firestarter and Fire Gamin? Marcus with with Gremlins, for even more pork fun? Maybe Ironsides could work in a Guild Latigo crew, if Abuela brings her into the family?
  9. I'm going to join the "favorite miss" choir here. My only concern is cleaning flash out of the wheels...
  10. Something like this could work: Resurrectionists 50ss Crew McMourning -- 7ss +Moonlighting - 1ss +Evidence Tampering - 2ss Zombie Chihuahua - 2ss Canine Remains - 4ss Guild Autopsy - 4ss Guild Autopsy - 4ss Guild Autopsy - 4ss Nurse - 5ss Nurse - 5ss Rafkin - 7ss Sebastian - 7ss +Those Are Not Ours! - 1ss +Transfusion - 1ss Play around with the crew creator here: http://bythetree.net/
  11. When you take the Moonligthing upgrade, you automatically get a Canine Remains whenever a living or undead model dies from poison within an aura of 8" of McMourning and when you reduce a living or undead model to 0 wounds with Expunge with McMourning, you get a Flesh Construct. In both cases your summoned model is places just as and instead of a corpse marker. Its not exactly "they just happen" but its close. Its very clear in the rulebook and in the cards in McMournings box *Ninja'ed... damn*
  12. McMournings box and Rafkin is a good start and if you add a box of Guild Autopsies (cheap poison spreaders), you can decent build 50SS lists. I'd pick up extra Canine Remains and Flesh Constructs too though, as the summoning of these is almost automatic and they're not bad hires either. You dont have to focus on it, in fact you can pretty much ignore it and just regard is as a nice bonus to someone dying from poison or Expunge near McMourning. Rogue Necromancy is good with McMourning too and with Spare Parts you can even summon it (and Guild Autopsies). Mortimer is another good model, but since you can only get him in Nicodems box, I'm not sure he's worth it if you're not planning on either using the Punk Zombies (great with Molly) or just playing Nicodem at some point. Since Guild Autopsies became available in plastic, I'm not sure if Crooked Men are worthwhile, as they sort of fill the same role (ranged poisoners). They might be worth the extra soul stone for their resilience to hold markers? I've read that people have had success with Shikome too, but they've been too expensive in SS for me to squeze them into my lists. The McMourning tactica the same article as on Pullmyfinger, but the discussion after the main article is higly recommended:
  13. McTavish or Mancha Roja with Mud Toss can remove conditions.
  14. I see what you did there Is there a reason you're not considering Levis box now? Rusty Alyce is a very good all around henchman for Outcasts, and she can take an upgrade to summon abominations, so those are usefull too.
  15. It might be hard to seperate him from his Belles but I think Seamus works exactly as intended. In the fluff he's a creepy serial killer that feeds on fear and pops up unexpectedly and he plays that way on the table.
  16. Its not an easy model pool to put something useful together from. There's no scheme runners and no support models. Punk Zombies makes for decent hitters and Mortimers Fresh Meat can help their mobility issues. I'd strongly consider picking up some Canine Remains, Necro Punks or similar scheme runners and Nurses for support
  17. But those arent in the Brewmaster crew box
  18. You give Brewmaster the Running Tab upgrade, but outside of Brewie crews you cant use the gremlins in TT.
  19. If you dont own tweezers I'd recommend you pick them up ASAP as Wyrds Gremlin models are notorious for small parts. The blueprints: http://www.wyrd-games.net/build-instructions on Wyrds site are helpful as are GMORTs unboxing articles: http://gmortschaotica.blogspot.dk/p/unboxing-malifaux.html
  20. And if you're looking to pick up some Bayou Gremlins, you might as well pick up Somer's box
  21. I think the Scion of Black Blood is the only real dud in the box.
  22. There's a really great crew builder here: http://bythetree.net/
  23. Phillip and the Nanny would give Collette access to some serious card cycling. Might be just the thing for Lucius too. While we're at it - Sebastian in a Brewmaster crew...
  24. Usually I'd rather see the pullmyfinger article opdated, but in Mahs case a sticky might be good because the forums cant handle 3 letter searches...
  25. Librarians are very hands on in Malifaux, I see no reason that (crooked) accountants shouldnt be too
