  1. The source of my question stems from a discussion about who has the responsibility to ask/state that information. I am of the mind that you should at least declare that there is a TN. The other person was of the mind that it isn't their job to say if something has a TN or not until after the attack had been declared a success or not. The reason being, I assume, is because the loser of the duel has to cheat first, even if you have not hit the target number.
  2. Title says it all. Specifically, when I declare an action, am I required to tell my opponent if there is a Target Number involved or what the TN is? I know I don't have to say if I met it until after the cheat fate phase. For instance, if I am attacking with a CA attacking that has the gun icon with a cast skill of 6, Resist WP, and TN 14, do I just say "Attacking with this ability" or do I say "Attacking with this ability with CA 6, shooting, Resist WP, with a TN".
  3. I concur. One game is not enough, esp against a red joker flip.
  4. You don't even need to do that, really. If you hold onto 6 plus woke up with a hand, that is 8. Used the stitched ability once or twice, draw 2 and discard one...discard an ace.
  5. My local gaming store does not print receipts unless it is done with a debit card. Even then, it is just the total and not itemized. What they do have, though, is a database sales thing that they took a screenshot of as well as me taking pictures of the product I bought. I have submitted this, but just to make sure, is there anything else I would need?
  6. No because he is 0 Cost and it has to be at least 1.
  7. Is the sale tax 8% universally or is based on region? EDIT: Actually, I should ask, what sales tax should I expect?
  8. Yeah but those become stale you have the opportunity to post about new things, local meta and get new players involved with others. Pinned taticas grow so large with people putting in their two cents any new player would take weeks reading through it all just to get to the meat of the topic. And? I have learned a lot about models by going through all of that. Reading trains of thought is a great way to learn about a model.
  9. Ah, nevermind. I re-read. Leveticus doesn't count as to sacrificing himself when it happens. J/K. Whoops.
  10. It is considered a skill upgrade. Per the summoning rules of the shifting loyalties, all skills on the model that sacrifices itself are lost.
  11. Say I have Leveticus with the avatar skill. Say I bury Leveticus and summon a weiff. And finally, say I bring back Leveticus using either the weiff summoned or another one. Per the summoning rules, it would seem that I would lose the Avatar skill until the end of the game, is that correct in both cases of target selection for the Rebirth cycle?
  12. Thanks! It is an expensive investment, but I kind of think it would be fun to do. Decisions, decisions.
  13. I just want to make sure my understanding is correct. If I end up picking Jack as my Master on the half way point, I would have to spend 2 for each curse upgrade, correct? And is it limited to one upgrade per week?
  14. NM, it is during a model's activation. I fail.
  15. Lynch lets you keep aces flipped *for the most part*. For injury flips, couldn't one keep an ace and keeping using it to keep the model safe?
  16. What would be a good "core" list for Yan Lo? I assume Izamu, Yin, and Toshio. What else, crew-wise, is needed?
  17. So I picked these gals up at Gencon. The assembly seems a little rough, namely for the Quins, there is 2 needles and flowers (it seems). What do I do with them?
  18. I am new but I think this is incorrect. You get tempo and hand control to burn through their cards first. Trying to attack Lynch is hard to do in the few games I have had with him.
