  2. Nests Archivists Both Ngaatoro Mordrake Emissary Nexus This is my golden list. Nests should lose FtS and gain Herald and lose Wds Archivist and Nexus should both lose Siphon Power Archivist should have Ill Omens +1 and the attack should be enemy only Mordrake -> insignificant Emissary: change heal to shielded Ngaatoro: both should lose something. They have damage, tankyness, lots of buffs, debuffing auras.
  3. I lost 7:4 to Colette as Sonnia. T1 went well as I RJ into Cassandra from Sonnia but after that my crew started melting. Harata RJed my Rider for a total of 8 dmg which swinged the game super hard Then Colette hit Sonnia for 6 with the Sword trick. Even my opponent said I should have been salty
  4. 5/8 keyword models isn't that bad IMHO.
  5. I think you can predict how the bury will be useful from the opponent's master/faction. Dropping an Iron Skeeter, Silurid or Soulstone Miner might save you the game

  7. I had the same thoughts. Guild has very big issues with both high scoring and denying. In the 7 tournament games I played in Vassal 2 games had a diff >1. I think it's super hard to win a big tournament with Guild because even if you win all games (which is possible) you will most likely be outrun by diff. Alot of Guild players also do VERY well after faction swapping because some schemes become super easy. I know when I played some games as OC or AR I was surprised by how easy it is to score points
  8. I will. R1 I think you have a lot of options. Sonnia and Dita are decent because there isn't a lot of places to hide if you're not playing vs Bayou Basse, Dashel and Nellie also seem fine. Same goes for Justice as she's good at taking out symbols

  11. I specifically said "due to models" and not "skill or luck" If we both struggle and the game is close, then it's fun. If he has to make mistakes to lose and I can't mistakes to tie, then it's not good IMHO.
  12. It might be me but I rarely have fun if I have to struggle to tie a game just due to model difference. I'm not counting luck or skill.
  13. Sue also has HtK , Convicts have Bulletproof and access to fast.
  14. My february challenge is going horrible. I have a hard time getting any work done. I managed to sneak in a Union Miner recently, but I still have 3 days so fingers crossed! EDIT: not super happy about Saboteur but will do. @Caedrus I have 2 Union Miners and a Saboteur. 15SS

  18. I disagree. There was a lot of complaints of the Emissary and Archivist during the beta and the defenders we're either non-existants or in a very big minority
  19. I think the heal from Emissary's bonus and shielded combine with WaL is what makes it obnoxious.

  22. I'd say it's going average. No real blowouts from what I see. Not to mention that the rules don't favor Guild super well
