  1. Thanks! Who decides the order of an appearing zombie, poison, leveticus, sacrificed swordsman etc.? Or is it all "simultaneously"?
  2. So I just played the new Extraction strategy: "At the end of every turn after the first, after scoring VP, player with most non-peons within 6" of the informant mnrker may place the marker up to 3" away." Also: "At the end of each turn after the first, a crew earns 1 VP if it has 2 or more non-peons within 6" of the informant marker." So, this is fairly obvious, one is after scoring VP. Here is where we got lost, because I had Carrion Emissary who had shard markers in play: "At the end of the turn remove all markers. Before removing the markers a mindless zombie may be summoned in base contact with them." And a scheme (Convict Labor 2016) that says: "At the end of every turn after the first, earn 1 VP if at least 3 scheme markers are within 2" of the centerline with no enemy models or friendly scheme markers within 2". So. Does the mindless zombie appear before VP are earned from the scheme and the strategy? Will a model die from the poison condition (last wound) before VP are earned but before the zombie appears or after? What about Leveticus appearing instead of a hollow Waif, or a Lone Sworsman who is sacrificed at the end of the turn because he failed to kill his mark? What happens when? Also: When McCabe is knocked off his horse, he ONLY takes upgrades with him to the newly summoned dismounted McCabe, and potentially leaves behind paralyzed and 12 burning markers?
  3. I also use chrome, and yes the version you link there is probably the one I used, works fine, unlike the newest one.
  4. Something's a bit off with this version, almost all my pictures are either a bit below the space in the marker, or a bit to the side, so that there's a big white space above it or next to it. I just opened the older version and the same pictures fill out nicely. (Horizontal/vertical adjusting doesn't help)
  5. Yeah I see your point. Casual gamers like myself didn't even think of that.
  6. I hate when rules lack logic... "I have the option to sneak closer to my prey... but I can't control myself enough to walk around this toxic acid lake... WHOOPS!" They should rewrite it to say "must end CLOSER to the target" that way it wouldn't be a mindless robot move.
  7. I've started to use the Rogue Necromancy's STALKED ability but the rule states I have to move as close to the stalked model as possible. Does that mean I HAVE to move into hazardous terrain if that would take me closer than going around it? It sounds kind of silly but perhaps that's the case? Also the movement from Rotten Belle's Lure: It's not a Wk action but it's still slowed by terrain since it's not a push, correct?
  8. I don't understand what makes them good with Nicodem, he can't give them Fast since they are not Undead, so what's the trick?
  9. We have somewhat a debate here in Denmark. Riflemen can remove the focussed condition to damage someone performing a charge and since this is not in their own activation, is it affected by paralysis at all?
  10. So ashes and dust is in fact, slow, the turn after he "ressurects"? Since it is summoned.
  11. Carrion Emissay has a rule that states "At the end of the turn, remove all friendly shard markers. Before removing the markers, a mindless zombie may be summoned in base contact with them." Does that mean the mindless zombie is summoned but can't activate, since the turn "has ended" or does it have it's 1 action? Similar with Ashes and Dust when it reforms, then the new ashes and dust is summoned "at the end of the turn". Leveticus might have something similar when appearing instead of his hollow waifs.
  12. I'm interested in copycat killer, can you post a photo?
  13. I'm interested in copycat killer, can you post a photo?
  14. Is he in that box? Weird he wasn't depicted on the website I looked at. Thanks!
  15. The model seems to be between releases but is the Copycat Killer a good totem to include for Seamus? He has a decent shot, although at Sh 4 but is perhaps a bit pricy?
  16. Oh yeah, corpse explosion is a Wp duel... thanks. I will keep your advice in mind.
  17. I've played a lot of Nicodem but recently I've given Seamus a go and I really likes his Back Alley and Flintlock. He summons Belles, which is fine but I'm wondering if the expensive upgrade of Spare Parts is ever worth it? 8 of crows will get me a Guild Autopsy, the range is not good but at least it's got full wounds. Then there's the wet dream of summoning a Rogue Necromancy! 11 of crows which is the least of my concerns. The 4 corpse markers, all within 6" of Seamus AND a (2) AP action. Does this ever happen? Yes, I assume it does, but do you have to put too much effort into getting those 4 corpse markers in close proximity? I was thinking Corpse Bloat (but again 2 SS) to slice out a spleen for 1 corpse marker and 2-3 Canine Remains to get some more? Perhaps the new and cool Carrion Emissary which can create a Mindless Zombie every turn = 1 more corpse marker. Then I'm thinking this might be too much work and energy towards getting a Rogue Necromancy for next turn, while spending most of Seamus activation and a handful of other models' too? What do you guys think? Seamus has several really good upgrades, it's hard to choose! Maniacal Laugh seems more like a fun theme upgrade than a useful one?
  18. Live in Denmark, have (according to everyone) a fairly impressive Malifaux Graveyard table, that I built only last year. Well last year was when I was introduced to Malifaux, I quickly got obssessed with the best game in the world. I have enough models for at least 10 crew. Also have a big Sewers/Prison of Malifaux table. Would love to be a Henchman for Wyrd, and I do my part, so far 4 guys have started playing this game, buying rules, crew and everything, because of me. I have played loads of intro games and have people over for a game almost every week. I don't have the club house or store required though. Wyrd is very black and white about that. 19. Back Alley: Seamus can "teleport" to blocking terrain if no enemy model can see him. Blocking terrain can be wall, rock, a house etc. even a small piece will do I assume? If Seamus stands behind a Ht 3 Dead Rider, it would take a Ht 4 enemy model to see past the Dead Rider and prevent the action, correct? (Or some elevation probably) Second question: Is a model always assumed to be in base contact with itself? The Graveyard Spirit has the Armor +2 boost for friendly models in base contact. Since it doesn't say all OTHER friendly models I assume it will get Armor +2 itself too?
  20. Ca actions can be taken against models engaged 10” away (for example), with no randomization, correct? What if the casting model herself, is engaged with model X but wants to target model Y who is not engaged, can she target model Y with a Ca action? (For instance Collodi or Nicodem could be the Casting model.)
  21. Thanks. And yes, it's a joy! Can't play enough!
  22. I've completed my Malifaux gaming table, which is (hopefully obviously) a cemetary. I'm working on additional loose terrain pieces to create more diversity from game to game but even now it's a joy to play on. What do you guys think? Anything missing? I'm making a forest too, my first try wasn't up to standard. The green puddles are hazardous terrain. First the graveyard without any of the loose items on, then with them: Well, I just realized I can't put more than 0.49 MB worth of pictures in here, so I'm linking to my cemetary blog, where the newest pictures are. (Feel free to look at page 1 through 17 and see how I made everything, battle reports etc. but the text is in Danish I'm afraid.) http://www.powerfist.dk/forum/index.php?topic=82949.400
  23. Hmmm it seems to work if I only have a few counters. So what I'm doing is make a few at a time, open sheet, use the windows cutting tool to make a picture of the icon, open that in word and I can then have all of them in 1 word document in the sizes I want. Takes a while but will be great. By the way, thanks for adding the zoom/vertical/horizontal options!
