A non-standard build that works very well is Rusty with From the Aether combined with Engage at Will. Let's you summon Abominations 1 per turn with Rusty's 2 x different 0 actions. If you hire 2 x Aboms you can essentially summon the Desolation Engine turn 2.

For Q1 your second version is correct. If your master's or henchmen's card specifies a cache for e.g. 3SS then that's the starting number of SS he or she gets before choosing to add more up to a max of 7SS. The starting cache is essentially a balance thing, masters/henchmen with higher starting caches are supposed to be less potent than those with lower ones. For SS use they are declared prior to flipping and depending on if it's used for attack adds a or defence add a and a to their damage flip. The adding of the extra card was a rule in V1.5 Hope that helps clear it up.

They get 1 less if a Minion or Enforcer does the killing. His high move and flight help him reach targets you want him to.

He's a bloody awesome model and for a 10ss minion he ought to be. Frame for murder is his bread and butter, if you see a opponents model looking strangely vulnerable take it out with DS just in case.

I've 3 of each and feel happy with that amount.

I scratch built one out of green stuff for the body and a flesh hound's head, dark elf scaly banners for the spines. It came up decent enough.

It can't be used i forgot about the mimic's restriction of named models. The condition is considered still part of the action and names the model Voodoo Doll so it's illegal. I came across the same issue with Lazarus copying a Metal Gamin's protection from metal.

Another Doll trick is to hem the big expensive model and get the doll close to it then drop a big blast into the melee. Whichever you hit doesn't matter too much as you will be hitting one and splashing the other for damage to both the doll and the hemmed model. That burning trick is oh so mean and something i want to try, though fire gamin can't be hired unfortunately as they aren't living. Iggy with depression and a specialist should do the trick.

I'm new to Nicodem and will be having my first game with him today. This is a little trick i plan to try out, summon a Flesh Construct and Siren Call them into base contact with a Performer for a Sip of Wine and heal up an instant 5 wounds.

Originally i bought her to use with Levi when running Pariah of Iron so she can pick and choose which construct action to use each turn from a variety of them. So essentially a Ley Line Sniper and Robot Herder. As a Deck Stacker i've considered using her mostly to place a low card first before activating a model with a attack flip though i'd never thought to use her last in the last turn to manipulate extra turns. Nice idea.

Toshiro with Lynch is brutal. My list was... Lynch - expert cheater, the rising sun Huggy - Addict Beckoner Dawn Serpent Illuminated x 2 Toshiro - command the graves I felt a Performer would be ideal in this crew even swapping out an illuminated for her. The DS was handing out so much poison and Toshiro summoned 2 Ashigaru who themselves was giving out Poison and a sip of wine from a Performer would have been even more brutal.

You pretty much nailed it Toshiro is an awesome henchmen combined with any master who's crew is filled with minions. That and the fact he can raise Komainu or Ashigaru when he finds scrap or corpse counters.

I just purchased Nicodem and plan to try him out with Toshiro for extra summoning and his aura and Chiaki to boost his Ca. Anyone else tried it. If Nico is the QB Toshiro will be my Fullback.

Awesome tactica DarkBlack, i learned a lot from it. With Levi being the damage dealer he is a cheap little Watcher could be gold.
