This saturday my board gaming club will be having a game night at the university campus. I will be bringing everything needed for a demo game. Från kl 18 till sent, övervåningen på kårhus örat på campus US. Brädspelsföreningen Tabula Ludum kommer finnas på plats, de har möjlighet med att prova på att spela spel om man så vill. Jag kommer finnas där med mina Malifaux-prylar, redo att köra demo-games. Väl mott!

It sometimes take up to 3-4 seconds to load a new page, especially when scrolling fast. It probably takes around 20-30 seconds to load the document when starting it up. I've been using both iBooks and Notability, notability takes a bit longer to load pages.

I'm in, last year was exciting! With all the plastic boxes coming around, getting 1 or 2 extra models you don't need only increases in frequency (or having to buy a crew box just for a model or two). This exchange seem like a good way to "split a box" with someone or getting some mileage from those unbuilt extras lying around. Might this be worth addressing?

Monday next week I, together with associates both from my tabletop gaming club and the student association for medical students (Medicinska Föreningen) will be hosting a board game night for Medical Students. We are marketing towards the medical students, because they are approximately a thousand or so of them here, but everyone is welcome! I will be there with my Malifaux, ready to give a demo game to anyone wanting! The following information will be in Swedish, if you want more information in English please don't be afraid to ask! Mondag den 13:e oktober kommer Medicinska Föreningen (Läkarstudenternas sektion) att anordna en brädspelskväll på kårhus Örat med start kl 18. Med oss har vi brädspelsföreningen Tabula Ludum, som står för majoriteten av spel och även hjälp att lära ut spelen. Eventet riktar sig främst till läkarstudenterna, då sektionen står för alla pengar, men det finns inga krav på att man måste vara läkarstudent. Jag kommer vara där i egenskap av Henchman och vara tillgänglig för demo-games! Vid eventuella frågor tveka inte att höra av dig!

From what I've heard, there was some production problems with Brewie, which is why he wasn't released last spring as planned. I'd very much like a status update from someone like Nathan, we've haven't had any information in a long while now.

Since we we're discussing master Hamelin, I meant the original metal version of him as a master, the one on 30 mm. Iirc Hamelin the rat Catcher wasn't on a 30 mm, so it assumed it would be easy to understand which one I meant. To summarize, I prefer the rat catcher version over the master version, but I like the avatar the most and so am using that one only. I can recommend magnetizing the avatar, it was easy thanks to the cobblestone on the insert.

I've done Hamelin on both 30mm and the original base by magnetizing his feet, so I can switch. I'm not fond of the original Hamelin model, have it but never painted him. I'd say it very obvious when he goes into his avatar form, because the base and insert is huge.

I might be getting an extra Johana later, depending on which boxes she will be in. They originally said she'd be in multiple boxes, just not which ones. If I do get an extra, I'll contact you! Not sure I'd need a miss ery in exchange, might be interested in something else.

I think it was both ways last year. 100 for the old miss terious, 250 for Santana. You could also buy some of their old PW stock one model at a time.

I think the "damaged and misplaced" counts as everything close to it. Including mispacked orders. Just describe the problem in detail and they'll handle it.

It will probably take a while to process, since they're still not done with packaging all the gencon orders.

Considering all the orders haven't got their shipping confirmation yet, mine included, it probably means that they're still busy packing those. They said it would be down until all orders are done, if I recall correctly.

There was a post recently with a link to another forum, where a member had visited the factory in China. There was a few explanations along the way that might answer some of your questions... I'll see if I can find it, but have a look around!

Please remember that in the past, Wyrd has had excellent customer support. It will probably take a while though. I was one of the people who bought the Amazon Viks during last years Gencon and while the whole ordeal was confusing, it was sorted out in the end. I have to agree with some of you though. The frequency that they're having problems is alarming. I get the feeling that they might be, as a company, overextending. A figure game that's being completely redone both rules-wise and model-wise, a role playing game made from scratch, redoing the board game (PW), and releasing three new board games (EBO, KoA, JU) almost parallel is bound to have some mishaps for a company their scale. Even if it's been taking a few years. I just hope that they will take it easy with new projects now that many of these are out in the stores and just catch up with everything they've got left. Seeing as the same kind of problems are popping up, time after time.

Follow the link, try to get as many pictures and as much info as possible and send it in via their form. A thing everybody asks about: Wyrd won't reply if they have everything they need. Only if they need something more from you then you will hear from them. And remember: miscasts might not be the highest priority and depending on shipping, it might take a (long) while before you get the missing parts. Especially with all the Gencon orders that have to be processed starting next week.

I wouldn't rely on it. Did you try multiple times? Do you live somewhere in Europe with strange letters in the adresse field? (Example åäö) For us Swedish people the letters were a problem, so we all just had to use the normal version (aao). Maybe it's something similar?

My killjoy is the same as you describe him. The gunslingers weren't. Bought both this week. My guess was that killjoys card is the new stock that the wave 2 cards will have.

As mentioned, triggers are counted off the *attack flip*, so it's for each ram in the attack. Generally you only have one suit in the damage flip and it usually has no effect. Attack flip on the other hand is flipped card + one if soulstoned + any suits included in the action or from abilities. I'd say it depends. If it's a 2" ledge then sure, if it's the last 2" of a ladder or something I'm not so sure. It kinda of fits reality though, since you often let go and fall the last part when climbing (e.g. Climbing down a tree). Don't have my rulebook on me. I'd ask my opponent, but I don't play that competitively.

I'll do something about it later today. The event isn't Malifaux only, so it has to be created separately from the Facebook group.

Hello everyone! Saturday next week, august 16th, there will be a gaming day hosted at Musikhuset Runan in Täby Kyrkby. It's a general event with all kinds of tabletop gaming and of course Malifaux will be represented. Our local henchman Wiking will be responsible for the whole event so I will step in and help out with the Malifaux oriented stuff. There will be a hobby corner, gaming tables (with terrain), a painters competition, and if there is enough interest I will arrange a one-day tournament. I often play with Hans and a SoC accompanying my Viks. I try to set Hans up in the middle, so his firing lane forces my opponent to think of the board as to halves. I send each Vik, supported by a minion or two (maybe a ronin) to each half. One Vik is still kind of killy, and with the right upgrades they can still go through terrain quite well with extra actions or ignore penalties. So my opponent has to decide whether to risk getting killed by the Viks by splitting his force or focus on one side, which leaves me with one side open. This a worked a few times, but it depends on the opponent not being able to know exactly what scheme you are going for. The Viks are basically used as bait to occupy the opponent and make him use his actions on hunting them, or letting them roam free and interact with whatever they want. It's not perfect, but if your opponent doesn't see it coming it can be effective.
