I am going to use this format for my Wyrd weekend tournament. I added line in sand to schemes to make it feel more like a "normal" encounter. I will have to post up the results. I think this format could be big!

I would love to come out if I owned a better vehicle. Seems like most of the group is a no.

Hmm, the overall crew set up seems off. Why pick two models to be the leader? Seem like it is just asking for trouble. If you are taking that all those masters and henchmen, what do you need the 20ss crew for? I feel I am missing something.

On June 8th, if you never played Malifaux, drop in for some demos. Here is the info! Where? Dragon's Lair Comics 2227 n Blondo St Omaha, NE 68104 (402) 399-9141 When? June 7th, Hardcore Tournament. June 8th, demos. Time? Hardcore Tournament starts at 10am and run until 4pm. Demos start at 2pm and run until 6pm. Cost? The Hardcore tournament is $5 to enter and demos are free! Hardcore Tournament (thanks to the guys at NOVA open and Malifools for the rules) 1. 20 soul stones 2. Henchmen led 3. Must be 4 models total in the crew 4. Strategy is Turf War 5. Schemes are Assassin and Line in Sand 6. Crews may not add stones to soul stone pool 7. Rounds are 1 hour 8. 5 rounds 9. No rules or abilities that use the term "summon" can be use. There will be snacks and good times for all during the Hardcore Tournament. It all happens at the Lair!

That happens if you don't start the numbering system with 01. If you start with 1, then 11 is next.

Welcome to the world of malifaux! I am the henchmen in the Omaha, Ne area and we do in fact run malifaux at the Dragon's Lair. It is every Saturday, from 10am until 4pm. In May we will be starting a paint in play and you are than free to join up. We will be doing open games this Saturday, if you want to pop in and meet the group. I always recommend that new players pick a faction with lots of master they like. Getting one or two master from different factions does hamstring yourself, even in m2e. I have one guy in my local gaming group that only has 5 different masters and themed crews but they are from 3 different factions so some encounters he gets a little stomped because of limited choices. Personally I play factions. I have all but 5 Reserrectionist models (metals only) and all masters for Ten Thunder that are out so far. I do have other random masters, but I rarely use them. Mainly got them because of great deals on buying them.

I, too, talked with the guy at the booth. Looks like an amazing game. The idea is an enity called the Engine is pulling characters from all over the different worlds and steampunking them to help protect itself from the bad guys in a famous book (I am failing at remembering the book). Some of the characters I seen were Lancelot, Neo, Tesla, and Hensel and Gretel. It is a adventure board game and looks amazing. Can't wait for this one.

The idea of a malifaux 4 man free for all sounds pretty good. Could be a good idea for something more light hearted like the cake event.

Yeah, there was 0% m2e models at Adepticon this year. Only chance to see one was win one in the events.

I would like to get the Lost Love. That would left me with 9 models to collect. Thanks.
