  1. I noticed under Henchman Hardcore it still references using Plant the Explosives from Gaining Grounds Season Zero. As I tend to make my own refrence cards for seasons, I just wanted to double check this was intentional, and that the rework shouldn't be used. My guess is yes, but... figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
  2. This was fun! Looking forward to the next round!
  3. Sara, and Aaron would like to reserve a spot each. I need to find out for sure if Jaden is available. He may work. But we both just confirmed our availability. Bar work emergencies, we are down to clown!
  4. I couldn't take it anymore. Drew my own on there. Not as purdy as what I remember seeing... But that'll do pig... That'll do.
  5. Not 100% where to post this. Mildly strange request. I was wondering if anyone could post a pic I know I saw, but can't seem to find. That chubbie little pig sitting on it's rump Nathan often ends his posts/news letters with. Attached example. However wearing, I believe, an old fashioned rugby helmet. We are cooking up a story encounter for our local Malifaux Group "Tossing Around the Ol' Pigskin". A moderately converted/rewritten version I started working on based off a post found on the Bayou of Malifaux Facebook Group. Promise I am not looking to profit from it"s pilfering. Just want to use the image on little paper "Piglet Tokens" for use during the Scenario. Pretty sure, (or at least I sure hope), that falls within the "fair use" realm. I've hunted every where for two days. I went through a couple years worth of Monthly News letters I never deleted (though I am guessing I did delete the one I am looking for). Every page of announcements scouring for new release newsletter posts. I even started trying to look through old Chronicals issues. Just not having any luck. A hand, or hoof, would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully before I loose my mind to the insanity not being able to find something seems to inflict apon me. LOL
  6. This was my thoughts exactly. They can write fluff around any of that I would think. Maybe the gator egg fell in the pig pen and grew up think it' a pig. Ha!
  7. I wonder if Avatars are coming back next book... Nightmare Som'mer and Peaches? Even see a still and umbrella...
  8. Looks mighty nice. Let me hazard a guess.... is this a greenhose or sun room type of building? I'm excited to think it could be modular.. as in made to line up with one or more other kits to make a larger building. Though I could be wrong. I' m dieing to know how much... and when!
  9. I forget who all makes them, Secret Weapon, and maybe Armorcast... but there are weapon bursts to make it look like different types of weapons going off. Some of those coming out of little pieces of tube coming out of the ground could work.
  10. When pointing up our initial arsenal is the chosen master free? Then 15ss to field in game? Was initially thinking the 15ss came out building the initial arsenal. But reading in the book it looks like I was wrong. Thought it might be best to just check with you. Imagine while I'm at it I might as well ask a couple more. Is one henchman still mandatory? My guess is no, but didn't see anything in the book to confirm. Lastly, I'm guessing we are still restricted to one upgrade only, initially. Is that at normal face value? Or is the doubled cost in effect right off the bat... or only during the "new hires" phase? Thanks!
  11. Must have missed that part. Thanks!
  12. I'm reading that as any of our four crew members can be the nominated wrestler. Assuming that is accurate, can we know ahead of time if there would be any advantage or disadvantage if the chosen one happens to be the leader? For instance will assassinate still be a scheme? Or is it intended to be a surprise?
  13. If your looking for fluff, the Breachside Broadcasts are basically audio books of the stories right out of the big books.
  14. I'm tempted to re-base and put my old metal McMorning on the base with 'ol 29 for use as an avatar.
  15. Quite a few of the first edition sculpt had no nose, I'd even dare to guess most. But it appeared to be something they went back and forth on. I suspect they made a decision to go with no nose on all right around the time second dropped. I remember a thread about the alternative sculpt for Som'mer where we where all talking about if gremlins should have a nose. I like no nose. Sets them apart from all the other Green skins out there. I'm guessing they still would have nostril slits, maybe? Perhaps the septum is a recessive genetic trait and only develops for certain blood lines.
  16. That crew sounds awesome. But doesn't Trixie, Sammy, Roja, a stuffed piglet, and quality mash tally up to 22 points? Or am I off? I'm tempted to try it out is why I ask. Edit: Never mind. I figured it out. Roja leads. Me no math so good. lol.
  17. Well, now that you have gone that route, I would say save up for Burt Jebsen next. He was literaly made to go with Gracie. Slap the saddle up grade on her and drag him along with her. Tons of fun to be had there.
  18. Can't tell you, anything about the online store. But if it helps to know, my local game shop had one in store yesterday. Figure that has to mean onine is anyday now.
  19. But, if you really like it, I am fairly sure you can use the essence of power with Kriaris. Painted up nice and flame-ey it would even match nicely. ---------- Post added at 12:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:49 AM ---------- But, if you really like it, I am fairly sure you can use the essence of power with Kaeris. 20. Make sure you don't just have an old Opheilia box. Pere had a misprint on his card. My search-fu is weak so, by all means double check this info. But I'm 99% sure he should be on a 40 mm base. My card is a misprint. So I believe they are still floating around out there.
  21. I may be wrong, don't have him to check the card... But I think Skyhawk may be talking about Hamlin the rat catcher. Not the master. I seem to recall reference to that merc having an ability to let you bring a ht 1 out of faction minion. But then again I may be delirious. Not sure if that would get around the Hiring restrictions or not. Let alone get any stuffed pigs in the list.
  22. My advice would be to diversify. T-shirts, key chains, comics, novels, plushies... ext. I realize that's easier said than done. But third party companies possibly could be enlisted. I know several of my friends, as well as I, would blow money on them. I think most fans would. You have plenty of beautiful art already. Slap those on a few T-shirts with a big fat logo and you will have folks paying you to advertise for you. Reproducing the 1st rule book fluff and all is a big one as well. Love the mini condensed version. But the fluff is a huge selling point, or was for me anyhow. Took me a couple months to get my hands on a copy of the 1st book so as to know what I missed reading the last 2 first. Borrowed it too. Have yet to find a copy at at reasonable price, well, when I actually had the money to blow.
  23. If you do take Francois, seeing as you have a limited pool of figs to pick from, I have pretty good results having Ophelia give him rams so he goes off like a gattling gun. This of course whittles away his wounds very fast. But I prefer him over Pere as a suicide runner. Really only because I suck at getting Pere in a good spot to go boom. I see the potential in him but have pulled it off to my satisfaction very few times. Oh, and I have to ask. Spiku, you mentioned it being to bad he doesn't have a Hog Whisperer. Is there some particular use in an Ophilia crew I haven't heard of? Don't have my reading material handy and getting all excited to learn a new trick. LOL.
  24. My 2 cents... if it's even worth that, lol. Starting out with Som'er the hardest thing for me was having enough of all the models that can be produced in game. The list get's long fast. Even at low point games you want a fairly large... (Shall I call it "side board"?)... available. Unless your group let's you use proxies, No fig, can't do. He can produce 2 bayou gremlins a turn fairly reliably, if that's how you choose to spend your 1 actions. These can be then turned into more piglets. Little harder card wise. But not all that bad. Then you have the mosquitoes that reproduce in game up to 4. They are pretty much to good in game to pass up. Not to mention your taxidermist turning your pigs and any corpse counters he can get his grubby mitts on into stuffed pigs. If you are trying prioritize your purchases I would suggest taking this into account. I don't mind loosing as I really only play casually at this point. But I try my best to win. If at the end of the game I am wondering if I could of pulled off a win if I only had the models to summon, I feel... well, almost cheated. I would advise at least 1 more pack of bayou's. Very likely 1 more pack of piglets. Every post about "what do I need" I've read on Som'er prioritizes all four mosquitoes at the top of the list. Though I can empathize the hesitation to pick them over other awesome looking gremlin mini's when money is an issue. Small blessing on the stuffed piglets... 2 blisters is all you will ever need, as they detonate if you summon a, 6th? If I recall. As far as the LaCroix go, I love them all, and as their soul stone cost is a touch more heavy than a lot of Som'ers boys, they fill out a list nicely when trying to buy less. It's a shame you already have Ophilia realy, as buying the box set saves a few bucks per fig. Maybe try to find a player to trade the extra out? If no other gremlin player, maybe a Hamlin player trying to amass a Gremlin crew would give up a rat or 2 for the "heal yer sketters" shinanigans. Though not sure if that would be worth it. Hope that helps you avoid "buyers remorse" as you amass your horde.
