This. Focus on the Strategy. Pick scheme's that don't require you to kill anything. Last time I played against Hamlin the game completely flipped on turns 5 and 6 from me losing to winning. I was able to separate Hamlin from his rats using repulsive and then kill a bunch of them. That changed the balance of significant models. Also wicked dolls attacking rats was amusing as they could frequently summon new wicked dolls using their (0) because the rats were so easy to kill. I'm really curious to see the new errata because Wyrd has said that he will not get the Alp or Nekima treatment. They acknowledge that he will be difficult to balance while keeping his theme/fluff and have said several times that they (Wyrd) want to get things right the first time. I hope he gets a Dreamer type fix, reasonable without going overkill make the rubble bounce type fix. See Nekima for an example of how not to do it. But I have hope.

The weakness is that killing Yan-Lo invalidates your scheme. If you take his personal scheme you might as well take bodyguard as well because its bad if he dies.

This the the most important part of that post. Building a crew without knowing the strategy is like trying to build a 40k list without knowing the point limit. The best way to build a crew is to know what your objective is FIRST, then build a crew to do that one thing.

Dont forget having Coppelius pluck out an eye while the whole crew is affected by from a preloaded insidious madness.

Zoriada makes your crew better. If you need to reach objectives she can help you do that, or obey the other crew to activate the objectives for you. If you need to kill stuff she can help you do that, or obey the other crew to hit themselves. If you need to be in a certain place she can do that, with raven. By summoning wicked dolls she can increase the number of models that travel with her. Zoriada is a really good generalist who pairs great with Collodi + 4 marionettes + a heavy hitter + whatever.

I listened to it today. It was very entertaining. Has anyone tried to do a drink for every time you guys cuss? I bet they'd be hammered in 20 minutes.

I can't wait to put bert, gracie, and wong in a zoriada crew. It'll be sooooo much fun. Competitive probably not, but fun yes.

I'll pay a premium for VP's. If I think a model can earn me VP or deny VP to my opponent then I'll take it. For example I will hire a Wicked Doll and take Zoriada as my master in Deliver the Message. That is 4 VP virtually in the bag.
