McMourning has a pretty easy time taking out Mei Fang, in my experience. She doesn't have the damage track to take him out in 1 activation. Dump enough poison on her and McMourning can erase her from the board with Expunge (and get a new FC from Abra Cadaver!) pretty easily. My opponent might be a little too agressive with her, but in my experience she always seems to be in the right position for McMourning to pounce with out much retaliation. The more I use Scalple Sling, the more I don't think he needs. It's a 0ap that takes away from the use of Expunge and you can always Trigger off of Rancid Transplant, which has a better range anyway. I think I'm going to try and see how he plays with out it.

Seamus is possessed by the Gorgon, due to his Resurrection from Molly through use of the Gorgons Tear. The Gorgon is one of the known 13 Tyrants, of only a handful have either been really talked about or mentioned up until this point (Plague, December, Cherufe, Gorgon, Nytemare.) Currently there are no models that have the Tyrant characteristic, but I'd be willing to bet my imaginary farm that we'll see a few models labeled as "Tyrants" in wave two.

I always run 2 Belles to start. It's nice to have the spares for summons, but starting with more than 2 is just wasting points.

Yan lo, along with many other masters like Colette, Hoffman, Kirai are among those that will be releaed with the wave 2 beta files. These files have not yet been released to the public as of yet, but I believe in the next month or so the puclic should be seeing them for play test. So, to answer your question, Yan Lo is unfortunately not in the wave 1 beta or the initial M2E rule book, so you'll have to wait it out a few weeks before you can play him in M2E.

We've been playing 50ss and sometimes it feels like I have too many toys, not enough decision making. I think for hardcore organized play you'll see 40-45ss and for a more casual experience you'll see 50ss. I personally like the happy medium of 45 =).

Poltergeist has been solid for me. Any time I can force to enemy Wp duels without wasting Dora's own AP is a +1 in my book! I'll admit, it does require some positioning to not get it killed early on, but with Incorporeal it's not as hard as it seems.

I believe Feast on Fear only procs off enemy models, so no, luring your own models will not heal Seamus. I like pairing Sybelle with a Hanged. That way I can paralyze enemy models using her Comply trigger to force enemy models to attack the Hanged (you control the action) and make them fail the Horror duel. Remember, enemy models only count Sybelle as being friendly. =D

It's a toss up for me. More fluff is always good, but at the same time I hate looking for models in different books. At the same time, I'm with Nilus in that I don't like to read cards when I'm only interested in reading what a model can do. Pocket faction books would be amazing, along with a pocket rule book as long as there arent signfcant rules changes which would put M2E book 1 out of necessity (much like the original book 1). As far as fluff goes though, this is where I really see the chronicles playing a bigger role if Wyrd is to go down the path of faction books or no wave 2 books at all.

Specifically Undead Psychosis. This is an ability I exploited in 1.5 and I felt it was one of his best ways of surviving the full 6 turns of a game. It was also a way for my crew to survive as well, seeing that the enemy couldn't engage me but I could engage them.

I say we start a bake sale for our beloved overlord. :-P

As much as I like the simplicity of M2E Seamus, I prefer 1.5 Seamus (I know, I'm weird lol). The multiple elements of control both he and his crew had were way more my appealing to my play style, than back alley, stabby/shooty Seamus. Don't get me wrong, I've been doing pretty well in my games with Seamus, I just can't help but feel like something is missing with him. I too like to run a Nurse for support. Also, a Hanged teamed up with Sybelle does for some nice forced Terror checks with Comply!!

The best thing about the new art is that all of concept art is drawn with a similar style. The original art was such a clusterf*ck of random, cartoony ideas I always felt it was hard for newer players to grasp a dedicated theme for the game.
