Bonjour Friends, I am having some building signs made up to put on my mdf buildings...quick question for you veterans. What are some places in the fluff that might be merchants or establishments in Malifaux? Banks, Red Light District names, bars, saloons etc... Thanks for your help!

There is a creepy shop with a mannequin (or sumsuch insane construct) that kills people somewhere in the slums mentioned in the Ten Thunders story in Storm of Shadows (one with the detective).

Also there is a famous saloon/asian brothel-bar somewhere in Little Kingdom (China Town inside Malifaux) that is mentioned in both books 1 & 2, where Kirai used to work and I think Viktoria met Zoraida to get a contract for some business concerning Kithera. I've returned the books to my friend, so I can't check for those names, but someone here might...

I think some contracted assassins consipred to kill Lucius in Succubuss Cafe, but I'm not 100% sure on that one. Story about that is inside one of the last two Wyrd Chronicles...

Can't seem to find that name in the story (The Assassin's Ball, Wyrd Chronicles 5).

The attempt itself takes place in Tannery Hall, home of Lord and Lady Tannery.

Madam Sybelle's Saloon is used in Sybelle's description in book 1, or is the establishment legitimately called Red Chapel? I haven't come across the name in any of the fluff I've read so far.

The Governor General's Mansion and a lot of the Guild offices are in an area designated as the Guild Enclave, which happens to have a street called Old London running through it. Other locations whithin: the Offices of Madam Criid, the Guild Forensic's Building

The name of the saloon in the Little Kingdom that Viktoria met Zoraida in is The Qi and Gong.

I have also made up some such as Nicodem Undertaker a d McMornings Surgery

McMorning works out of the Guild Forensic's Building.

There is a Malifaux Museum of Natural History (Book 4 - The Final Word)

There is also the strange street of Widdershins Lane (Book 4 -The Final Word)

Malifaux Orpahanage for Sick Children (Although it is burned down now...Book 4 see title)

Octavius hall (Book 3 - Deadline)

That's what I could fined.

What do you guys think a good font would be for these establishment's signs? Old west or the more characteristic Malifaux font?

From an alt. historical perspective, itd be best to stencil out the words with a standard western font (or a collection of said standard western fonts). I don't think the fonts used in Malifaux (for the most part, with things like Bleeding Cowboy perhaps being an exception) would have been used in olden times.
