decker_cky
I meant hard to kill, sorry. And that's is a little different now if its at the start of the turn. So if you go first in the turn he will be ok if you can help heal him back up. You don't have to go first for him to heal back up. He just heals at the start of the turn. I know, I just meant if you go first you can reposition him so he isn't getting picked on right away. Or attempt to neutralize the threat at hand. edonil
Also makes him an interesting bait target for things. You can leave him exposed, he heals, and now people have to commit to deal with him again. Makes him a great sacrificial target if the situation calls for it. decker_cky
The other thing about him is that as a M&SU member, if you take some miners, your opponents need to finish him in a turn, or you can teleport in some backup to get him out of trouble (and that backup gets +1 CB and positive flips). edonil
Ah, forgot about that lot. That's true, this guy has a lot of interesting tricks to him to make him obnoxious!
Iamwyrd
Man I love the miners, and now with him they will have my love even more.

El Indio
Only two Miners allowed, unless Mei has some special rule involved; the Miners are M&SU Special Forces. In a brawl with Ramos, OTOH...
Cadfan
Oops. Miner Miner Kang Johan Railworker Railworker Railworker And Mei. That Resser guy with the silly hat is no longer the most pimpin' Master in Malifaux.
Iamwyrd
I think I would do: Mei Kang Kaeris Miner Miner So far just because I don't know how much the railworkers are soulstone wise.
Hoyled
Mei got game. When she perfect storms on her triggers your opponent wont be happy. Railwalk in10 inches, free kick from trigger, move into base with kick target, free armor spell from kick trigger. Claw attack, free steam cloud, free burning cloud spell. Railwalk away 15inches. Good stuff.

dgraz
The planets would truly have to align for all of that to happen. You would have to take a few turns just trying to build a hand for that. I don't see metal gamin in any of these pre lim lists.......don't discount them. Ratty
Yep, we have all seen the Convict Gunslinger getting of 7 or 8 shots, but it doesn't happen very often.
D_acolyte
I have seen happen 5 or 6 shots from Rasputina's curse a lot with one action, I think my recored was nine shots using a fair number of stones to make up for low masks. So with masters the planets and stars are flexable. ---------- Post added at 03:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:24 AM ---------- The number was posible because of high armor and shooting in to combat with bad luck on damage flips. dgraz
Also, Mei is best against a crowd. If the crowd isn't there, she will be a little less effective.
DeleteAccount
Well, seeing Ratty's diagram and what's been said, It shouldn't be too hard to get in, punch a bit and get out. Maybe not as amazing but hey, railroad in and kick (need 7 or more mask), punch somebody with claws and then railroad out (another 7 of any type) and your out. It would be a lot more tame than her max potential, but it is nice to know that it is relatively cheap to do hit and run sessions.
Ratty
Remember also you don't have to start at the left hand side of that chart.. you can just Kick someone or put up Vent Steam without triggering into it.

It is true.....her damage potential is nice, but not huge so she probably won't be able to effectively assassinate and escape.....she'll do damage but won't flat out kill anything but lower cost models. Well, we do want it to be balanced after all, I already get huge amounts of hate from my Shikome runs, don't need more of it thanks to going with Mei :Smug_Puppet1:
decker_cky
Couldn't you theoretically bounce between a few models continuously throwing tiger claw strikes if you kept pulling masks and landing your blows? Needs a lot of +++ or --- damage flips to get the deck reshuffled, but the possibility is there.

If you make a mistake with her, she can be killed.....she isn't too defensive unless she goes first and puts her armor up. Couldn't you theoretically bounce between a few models throwing tiger claw strikes if you kept pulling masks and landing your blows? yes.....theoretically. Her Cb is not uber-high so she would probably burn through quite a few ss to do this though....even if your lucky enough to draw that many masks. DeleteAccount
Sure, though a savy opponent that is spread out the first few turns should be able to put a cramp into that, I've learned to be more spread out vs the viks and it helps to stop them from utterly raping all my forces. Of course if the masks keep on coming and you have a couple of guys to keep bouncing between, keep on trucking.
