Thundernuts
Now that my flashy title got you to view this...Here is a collection of a few washed out pics of a handful of my guildees. More to come. Always more. The "To be painted" mountain never seems to get any smaller. I fixed his screwed up eyes since taking this pic. Sadly, I count see his eyes were screwed up without the camera. The deathmarshal is my first model ever with nmm. Came out pretty good. He was also the test model for the rest of his friends. Poor minions always have a that red shirt association. I wanted to try some sky earth nmm. It didnt come out right and I mean to go back and add some blue/brown to the sword to add that outdoor appeal. Its tedious though and tough to return to a model once your onto the next thing. Someday I suppose. Thoughts? More pics of all can be found through the link in my sig. Edited February 14, 2012 by Thundernuts I'll never tell! Dustcrusher
Wow- excellent shading and color schemes. The NMM on Judge's blade is nice and subtle, which I don't see often with that technique. Also, not sure if you meant the pattern on the Proxy's robe to echo Charlie Brown's shirt- it's funny to assume it is. "Who's holding the football NOW, Lucy?!" Thundernuts
Thanks Dustcrusher. The pattern is indeed an homage to Charlie Brown. His revenge will finally be served. Thanks again Demonn Agram. We cover a lot on that blog space adn update it pretty often. MOre pics of justice & crew coming around the end of the month(both here and there). By the way, You are the only other person I've ever met that goes around with Wyrd Bid Ful Aread on your lips and I love you long time for it. Viruk
Nice old-skool western style look on these, I really like this color scheme and your painting does these minis justice!
Thundernuts
Thanks Viruk! Made a Watcher model from scratch. I think it's an improvement.
Anger Worm
Beautiful blending all around! I know it's hardly the highlight piece but I was particularly impressed with the wood on the casket. Great job! Your scratch built Watcher reminds me of a certain robot from Fallout: New Vegas. Coincidence? Tis very cool.
krax
exteremly cool!
ModollerMorgan
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH that robot reminds me of Spongebob, on another note those models have a very nice paint scheme on them. I prefer using metallic paints, but i enjoy seeing folks works with NMM. Well Done
Anger Worm
That's pretty funny. My girlfriend also said, "Hey it's a Spongebob robot."
Thundernuts
Thanks all. THe inspiration for the watcher came from a D&D modron. Sponge bob is not my generation. However, the watcher spans all generations! Its magical like that. Anyway, brief update: Finished up this babe. Blind and beautiful. More pics of her can be found here. Math Mathonwy
I recognized it as a Modron immediately. Super cool work! And the painting here is through the roof. Very, very nice stuff. I like how you've managed to make Lady Justice look so serene and simple even though the mini is bursting with details. The blue blindfold looks great! Viruk
The watcher looks cool and I really like the paintjob on LJ, nice color scheme!
Thundernuts
Thanks guys. I'm really trying to step up my painting on my guildees. Giving nmm a go and going real bananas on highlights/shading. I like that I only have 9 models in my whole crew to paint to this standard. Every time I try this high level painting shindigg with another game, I burn out. Anyway, glad to hear it looks good. More stuff will be following soon in the form of an austringer and executioner. I'm hoping to get another death marshall or the watcher painted too.

cheetor
Lady J looks fantastic. Is her top slightly pink or is that a colour cast from the photo. Its nice either way
durek
Very well done. Lots of nice Lady Js lately.
TeeCee
Ohh love Lady J, nice hint of pink on her corset. Nice highlights
Thundernuts
Thanks everyone. Lady J's top is slightly lavender. I mixed lots of white with barely some gw hormagaunt purple to make the colour. She is a girl after all and girly colours accentuate that....as if her assets didnt. haha Fixed the issues with these two. The chest hair is all messed up. I dont care though. I repainted it 3 times and now I give up. It is what it is. After all, these are tabletop quality, so I cant spend eternity on this. I have a feeling I still wouldnt get it right given eternity. Viruk
Excellent work on these, I really like the vivid colors and smooth highlights. And I wouldn't worry too much about chest hair - they look alright. Makes me want to stark working on my own executioner!
