ambitiösa baser och mycket snygga och väl avvägda skuggningar/highlights! har själv börjat måla precis efter ett uppehåll på några år, wyrds figurer är väldigt roliga att måla

thanks, yeah she came out pretty good. Not sure about the guildguard sword, maybe a first try of nmm, or is it kind of hard on such a thin blade?

thank you all, yeah the yellow looks really striking. im actually most pleased with the lawyer, his coat got a really nice red shading/highlight, but not much of it is seen in this photo. two guildguards coming up...

first miniatures ever? in that case I would say they are really good. The criticism I would give is that the colours are a bit the same, try a contrasting colour and they will look more lively. I would also reccomend trying more extreme highlights. lastly, while it is nice with backgrounds to the photos, its quite hard to see the details of the minis with so busy backgrounds. but in all, very nice!

Finally a groupshot of the first portion of my misfits-crew. just began working on a new job, hopefully I will find time to finish the crew anyway.

Really like the green skin on the spirit

great looking metal. Is it only "metal" paints or have you blended them with ordinary colours?

Thank you. REgarding the slottabase. Of course I should pin the model instead, but now he is painted and I fear for sawing of the slottabase and chipping the model. Instead I made the base especially to be able to hide the slotta. I will paint the black part in a brown nuance to cover it more, but it doesnt really stand out as much in reality as it does in the photos. Anyway I think hes one of my best models yet. I realise that in his wide grin there are several teeth modelled, Im thinking of picking them out in white, but maybe it will look to odd seeing them clear and not just hinted at.

Thank you all for you support. here is the finished model: http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?29301-Lawyer-finished

Finished with the base and model (from the thread Redcoat) Made the base from balsawood to look like som sort of podiumlike place the lawyer stands and gaze accusingly on his victim. Great sculpt
-
More or less ready. Not the best of pics, will take new when the base is done. Really pleased with the mini so far.

vallejo dark red on black basecoat. Up to GW blood red and then a hint of sunbrust yellow and a lot of red washes
-
great work! Love the details, like the stained cloth where its been nailed together.

Beginning to paint one of my favorite models, the lawyer. He looks so glefully evil. Put a few hours just to highlight his coat, its so dramatically cast around him. Pherhaps a more consistent red would have suited him more. Well see when the rest of his colours come into play.

Just gott a blister of guild guard but is confused with the one with a loose arm. The arm supplied is a leftarm, the miniatures fixed arm is also a leftie... thought I got a wrong one, but as there are only two kind of guild guards produced I cannot understand what model the "wrong arm" is from. Is it just my blister that is mixed up or am I not understanding something??

what offense could that be? I just realized that the kneeplates are supposed to be a part of his boots... will paint those and tone down the blue highlights a bit. And paint his bird of course...
