Its a little better than most bot posts because its actually relevant to our interests and not just about cheap viagra but still. I guess if everyone's enjoying discussing games there's no harm but I was surprised to see this one grow to six pages when I was expecting it to just get deleted. I am quite partial to a bit of country myself, as long as its the decent stuff and not the bastardised rubbish that people like Garth Brooks churn out. Anyway, back to the games. I have just gone through the DLC for Mass Effect 2. Overlord was so-so, but the ending was amazing if a bit of punch in the guts. I have also just completed Lair of the Shadow Broker, which is an absolute blast and I think a must have for fans of Mass Effect. I have now started playing Vanquish which is a complete change of pace to what I am normally used to. It gives my thumbs blisters and makes my eyes bleed. I love it !! I'm on my 3rd play through of Vanquish this is what Lost Planet 2 should have been. The pacing of the action is great, the time trials of each level is awesome. It is not an overly hard game but the challenges and point system give a great replay value. The other thing is the diversity of weapons and the necessity to level them up to make them useful makes it fun to focus on new ones on each play through. Was really into Malifaux for a bit then my friend who's the only person I really get to play with turned into a powergamer and now playing the game isn't much fun. It looks like great fun, but I think I may end up getting Mavel vs Capcom 2 from Xbox Live, unless someone can persuade otherwise. I haven't, but it has Amaterasu and Dante as playable characters.
