This board is EXACTLY what I'd want my board to be one day. Shame I don't really have the space or time to build one . Anyway: awesome work, keep it up!

At home I have some buildings, rocks and hedges and the like, and at our gaming club we have loads of Mordheim houses and swamps, forests, large rocky formations and the like. So at the club we can do a lot of the exterior locations, but none of the interior locations. We usually just set up some terrain we feel like and play.

As I usually glue the model to it's base before priming/painting, I just hold the base while painting.

I heard from a friend who was in Antwerp about a month ago you planned to order quite a bit. Nice to see at least some of it is already there! And Bad Things Happen indeed...

I believe this depends on the box used to ship your order. The small box ($16.50 in shipping) will not be tracked if the destination lies outside of the US even though you do get a tracking number. I think the larger boxes are properly tracked, but I could be mistaken on that one. *EDIT* Just for the other European guys: my order was shipped the 18th and arrived at my door the 27th. Not bad for something shipped halfway around the world!

Can't wait to get my hands on some of those spiders and the miner!

So... where does Hoffman fit in? Seeing as he is both Union and Guild... Does he get to be a star in both years? I must admit I haven't solved the Hoffman problem myself in regards to where he fits in my tier system.

Since the only crew I have is Colette, I always play the same list. As soon as my GenCon order comes in so that I have two more masters I will most likely mix it up and determine a list based on my opponent and my strategy.

Learning wetblending probably. I do it all the time now, and it just looks a lot better than layering paint on.

Yes, beauty standards change over time, but recent studies have shown the fit woman ideal is always there. But I have to agree with some of the guys over here, people (both men and women) prefer looking at nice looking people, let's be honest. And in fantasy settings there are more male stereotypes around that can be ugly and still work as a miniature. And more importantly: for a female miniature to look like a woman, certain aspects have to be exaggerated a bit, such as the female bits and the body shape. A miniature of an average woman with small breasts in practical clothing would pretty much look like guy. You can't sculpt all the subtle differences between man and woman on a small scale like the minis we like.

I guess that means my order with order no. 87something will take a while yet... It's okay though, it's good to see Malifaux is so popular!

I'm not quite that bad yet, but I do have the same urge to get a LOT of Malifaux stuff. Once you really get into it, Malifaux is a very addictive game, and the minis only make it worse .

It's a bunch of miniatures, everything about them is exaggerated so you can see their distinctive features on the tabletop. Besides, the only really bad Wyrd models where it comes to their boobs I can think of are the Coryphée.
