Shadeau Gorgon
So here is the first go at the combined Dreamer base... There are two painting options that I'm looking at and will decide tonight. Either prime black and highlight up in a deep purple for the black, or wash it very heavily multiple times in a true black ink... Shadeau Gorgon
And here ya go... the black ink wash is the way to go. IRL just enough light passes through it for it to be inky/murky looking...
Wodschow
That is pretty amazing.. I'm going to have to ask how you made it? O_o Looks like something we once made in chemistry.. Home-made plastic? xD
Sezar
Hot Glue gun??
Wodschow
Hot Glue gun?? Oooo.. That could be aswell.. Would certainly be less dangerous and involve less acids.. It just looked the same xD
Shadeau Gorgon
It's simply a high heat (elcheapo) hot glue gun with multipurpose glue sticks, drizzled over a dowel rod glued to two 20 oz cups. Then I looked through all the drizzles and found the parts that I liked... Terribly easy!
dgraz
Awesome. It also looks like the Venom parasite going nuts.

Der Wolfen
Super cool, how did you make the glowing effect of the eyes?
Shadeau Gorgon
Super cool, how did you make the glowing effect of the eyes? Liquid Phosphorescent pigment. It's a liquid additive that is commercially available, and you can add it to the paints that you use....
LoboStele
Holy crap, that darkness effect is freaking amazing, and SO super easy. Way cool. Will definitely have to keep that in mind!

Shadeau Gorgon
Been a bit, was sickly, had another project (SDE board) and of course Turkey Day travel and such. Here is a tease of the LCB, now with "smurfy" color... I tried Red and Black for him, but that combo sucked. It made him look like a Tyranid and that was not the flavor I wanted...
LoboStele
I really like that blue! I did my Nightmare version in black and blue, but it turned out more black than anything. I may try to do something more like this for my box set version.
