Shenlong Recursive Bonus Action?

So Shenlong can burn chi for suits while in Low River style. Can he theoretically convert all tomes above six into a semi-endless spree of focus spam by making himself take the same bonus action with his bonus action and hitting the "get focused" trigger?

No, the rules won't let it work that way.  Page 22 of the rules Manual has a call out box about bonus action's.  A model can only take one bonus action per Activation, unless the action was generated by the trigger.  Shenlong's bonus action makes another model take an interact or bonus action and the trigger then gives the focus.  He couldn't force himself to take a 2nd bonus action with it.  He would only be able to take an interact action

I can't see why not. It is slowly using up resources as he does it, so I don't think it's that much of a problem.

I agree with DumbLuck. Also note the rules specifically outline a way you CAN do multiple bonus actions (through triggers). Since this combination is not using triggers to get the extra bonus actions (and just the focus), you can't do more than one bonus action.

Shenlong’s Tactical Action doesn’t have the extra sentence that Hannah Lovelace’s Adaptive Tactics does which permits her to go past the normal  action limit.

So Hannah Lovelace can do a recursive bonus action on herself, and Shenlong can’t.
