Reagusmage
Been looking around and damn its hard to find bayou styled bases! The closest I've found (within the uk at least) are: http://shop.microartstudio.com/wood-bases-wround-30mm-5-p-1158.html You guys think they would work as bayou styled bases for Gremlins? Or did you make your own? Share with me any and all basing advice guys!
Adran
I've used the microarts Jungle base, and built pontoons over the jungle using a planking set I bought from my local hobby railway shop.
Blacks85
I've used exactly these bases for my whole Gremlin faction and they look amazing...at least, I love them I'm going to post the full faction in a week or so, meanwhile I show you the Brewmaster crew to give you an idea

rufusmcdufus
I use the Wyrd bayou base inserts and a few that I green stuffed myself along with army painter swamp tufts, autum flock and vallejo water effects. The pic is not the best but I'm very happy with how they turned out.
Omenbringer
I just build my own, it isn't really that difficult and usually also cheaper than buy resin bases or metal inserts. Here is a site that has a great tutorial on how to do it.
OldMetalShip
Might not help a ton if you're in the UK(as I don't know what distribution there is like) but Secret Weapon makes a "Blasted Wetlands" style base that works great for a bayou. Guildenstern
not hard at all - just make a marshy/swamp base Add some jugs of 'shine and some beer cans and you're good The wyrd ones are good I think, from the pictures too.

I glue plasticard under the base so it's contained. On top I put some sand and larger gravel as well as laying out little cut pieces of wood to look like planks and decks over the holes in the base (water) the wood sticks come from hobby lobby just tiny 1/4 inch wide or smaller to make planks and railings. When it's all said and done I add some flock and then static grass. The plan is to add water effects to the holes that I cut out of the bases but I haven't gotten that far yet. cheers, I'll get a pic up. Coffee stirrers can also make really nice planks. Whenever you go for a coffee, take three stirrers ...or you can buy a thousand(!) for five bucks: https://www.amazon.com/Royal-Count-Coffee-Beverage-Stirrers/dp/B001FVPAOE
-Loki-
I'm planning on using these from TinyWorlds. They're pretty economical since the 40mm bases are in packs of 6 and the 50mm bases in packs of 4, though 30mm are in packs of 10, so I'll need a few of those. Omenbringer
While those are some nice pre-made bases they could be made very easily (and likely even cheaper with just some balsa wood and water effect.
-Loki-
While true, I also don't have much in the way of hobby time and I've never been good at scratch building. I like to spend what I have painting. So if I can buy predone resin bases, I will. Same reason I buy pre-coloured plastcraft terrain. I don't enjoy painting terrain and don't like to put my hobby time towards it.
