AWESOME!!!! I've been waiting for this episode.  I love playing Ramos he was my first master I bought.  I really like your podcast so I'm really excited to hear your opinion of him and different play styles. Thank you very much for making it. I can't wait to listen to it on my way home from work.

Glad to see someone finally doing a cast about the top Arcanist master. 

Two quick issues: arcing screen works on all friendlies, not just constructs. Also, Ramos does not himself benefit from it.

why would he not benefit from it? its is just a 6'' aura friendly models get a to defence duels...if i remember the wording right

Looking at the cards, he does benefit from Arcing Screen, but he doesn't benefit from Overdrive ( the Ml aura).

Also, Opportunist specifies killed, so it doesn't heal him when he uses Uncontrolled Detonation, since it sacrifices  the construct.

yeah the over drive makes sense, I recently found out/ realized the sacrificed vs killed wording and was a little sad, my meta has been gunning to kill Ramos any chance they get at any cost

Great episode. As a Ramos player it had some great ideas for me. I'll have to try out burning to put out some.more spider damage.

Anyone tried Anna lovelace with him? Auras protect against shenanigans, rush to hunt for high tomes and her ca is against df and doesnt randomise into combat which combos well with the arachnida latch on.

This is what I was thinking. I didn't have the cards in front of me and I knew one of them was other models, just switched them in my head.

Great episode.  I wish every box set was a well designed as Ramos's.  I got it for Hoffman, but its just a stellar stand alone set.

Good episode, although it didn't really stem much into a support role. Just mentioned it and that was it really. 

Ramos is one hell of a support master if in the right hands (not mine though)
