@Skitt_Happensandd myself will be hosting the Malifaux English GT at the London GT! This will be a six-round event over two days following the rules in the most recent Gaining Grounds document. It will be 50 Soulstone games, Fixed Faction, Singles variant. Strategy and Schemes will announced soon! The English GT is open to all players of any experience level and we'd love to see new and old faces alike. The event will run Saturday 30th September 10am-6:30pm and Sunday 1st October 9am-5:30pm. The London GT is a massive, multi-system gaming event held in Lee Valley Athletics Centre in Edmonton, North London (61 Meridian Way, London, N9 0AR https://www.visitleevalley.org.uk/lee-valley-athletics-centre). There is a bar in the venue, free parking and a campsite that offers very affordable accommodation directly adjacent to the venue. We had a great time there last year and it would be good to go back and really start to carve out some table space! I will need some folks to bring some terrain as the Wayland bunch don't have an awful lot of it that is suitable for Malifaux. Those that do bring a table will each receive an extra raffle ticket per table bought and ill try and sort something else out for you all too.

Behold, The best beard in Malifaux is here with an event at the Wayland Games Gaming Hall in Hockley, Essex. This will be a 3 round, Fixed faction event following the most recent Gaining Grounds (currently GG2). Payment for this event will be through this link https://www.eventbrite.com/e/167081426043 please also update this thread so I can cross reference with the Wayland Games team Initially I will limit spaces to 24 but there should be enough room to expand this if numbers goes well. Tickets are going to be £12.50 each. There will be the usual trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. There will also be a best loser award and a best painted award. Theme for the best painted is model with a beard (because themes right? Haha). This model does not have to be in the faction that you play on the day. Minimum model requirements are: built and attached to appropriate sized base. Undercoated as a minimum unless authorised by me before hand. All proxies must be authorised by me in advanced also. It'll be pretty laid back but those the rules. Player pack will also be available in the next 48 or so hours. The venue have recently adjusted their opening times to 11am so a later start/finish time than usual but there is little I can do about this. We are able to finish a touch later than 7pm if needs be, but I'd like to avoid this if possible.
