SpiralngCadavr
So, despite having a smattering of gremlins since last edition, I've only just started looking at playing them (primarily somer and zoraida, probably eventually ophelia, and brewmaster when he comes out) and therefore building them... I've got the weird old War Rooster, which was okay as a weird pig last edition since there wasn't anything else it could be, but now I'm not sure what to call it, since it should technically proxy the current war pig, but it's also on the small side and there's now a rooster riding model... Leaning towards calling it a rooster rider (on the appropriate base), but, thoughts? Would you be okay with either? Would one be really weird? rgarbonzo
Rooster rider works for me
DeleteAccount
Chances are people will stomach a lot better a Gremlin riding the ugliest chicken in the world being a Rooster Rider than a pig, or at least, that's how I see it. Probably warranted to add that proxy to the official list too...
wobbly_goggy
I use mine as a Rooster Rider.... seems to make more sense!
Adran
Officially, it still counts as a pig. But if you based it on the right size base and used it as a rooster rider I really can't see anyone complaining.
SpiralngCadavr
Okay, sounds good. Rooster Rider, she is. And Chances are people will stomach a lot better a Gremlin riding the ugliest chicken in the world being a Rooster Rider than a pig, or at least, that's how I see it. Probably warranted to add that proxy to the official list too... reminded me of And yeah, that thing's hideous. But I like the more grotesque side of gremlins, so am happy with it.
wobbly_goggy
Officially, it still counts as a pig. But if you based it on the right size base and used it as a rooster rider I really can't see anyone complaining. If anyone you play ever does complain, stop playing them. Now. And find a better person.
Hateful Darkblack
I suggest changing the base and playing it as a Rooster Rider. Rooster Riders are incredibly good.
Dumb Luck
Stick it on a 40mm. Make it into a Rooster Rider. Find two more to do the same. Worked for me.

PraetorDragoon
I have no idea why you want to field one of world's most ugly models, but well, it's your sanity. Use it as a Rooster Rider.

I think you meant to post in either the Neverborn or 10T Jacob Lynch thread...
SpiralngCadavr
So, thanks for the advice, all- I have her over in my painting thread, but thought it'd be nice to post here, too: The advice works out even better, now that there's a bulkier and less-confusing war pig proxy coming my way shortly.
Vidd
Love it, Spiral. Hope it serves you well on the table.
SpiralngCadavr
Thanks! First game with it, got blasted second turn without doing anything but planting a scheme marker, but that got me 4 points from the marker and frame for murder, so I think that counts? Would be nice to see it flip out and super-charge, but 4 points off a 6SS model was pretty solid (shrug)
