Zwergenkrieger
Hi all, simple question: Is there a way to gain some form of Condition removal in our beloved faction? I searched the cards but couldnt find anything to remove a Condition. Did I overlook something? The only thing I found is Johann from Outcast faction, which is able to remove conditions on a friendly target model. ZK
zFiend
Dreamer can remove conditions from Nightmares, but are you looking for a model usable by every master?
Zwergenkrieger
Yes, Im looking for a model that can be used with every master. I totally overlooked Dreamers ability to remove conditions. Makes this master even better. Maybe I should try out this pal then?!? StaticVortex
Dreamer can remove from friendly nightmare or minion...so friendly non-nightmare enforcers, or mercs cannot have their conditions removed. The nice part about the ability is when you use it, you can cast it again to get another trigger for free. I typically use it to remove slow then give fast for free.
zFiend
I think it's Johan then. At least I don't get a model to my mind that would be able to do that?
Mister Shine
Collodi can also hire the Arcane Effigy
EnternalVoid
So to sum it up, our faction does not have any good options for condition removal. At least we are not entirely alone in this as a couple of the other factions have the same issue. That said it might have make Johan popular enough to get a variant model. Gorbad
Yup, just a real shame about the way they have chosen to distribute it. I guess the resell value of them could be high, especially since that art looks so much better than the Johan art in the book.
Falconrider
She'd make a nice Captain.
Bodiless
It isn't every master, but several masters have access to Obey and Obey-like abilities. You can use it to order an opposing model (Witchlings for example) to end the condition for you.
Snakeshit
That's why I love the dreamer, Heals removes conditions gives models fast. He can be a very good support Master or a beat stick! Versatile to the Max!
M_Ruckuss
It's an inbuilt weakness... We are good at soapy other things...!
StuffedKiwi
Doppelganger can copy the condition-removal actions of some of your opponent's models, if your opponent has such models, they're in range, and you haven't killed them yet -- situational at best, though, obviously. For the most part, we're pretty limited in this department.
zFiend
The Emissary had some condition removal didn't it?
Myyrä
The Emissary had some condition removal didn't it? It did, as a trigger to it's attack. I'm curious to see if we will get the final official rules available before the book comes out.
zFiend
Wave 1 didn't have any info on getting the final officials for free, wave 2 was specifically said that the officials would be given for free as a pdf, this wave had again no info on that, so the safe bet would most likely be no. That would be a shame. (Then they better have a deck available) So the list The Dreamer, Minions or Nightmares only. Arcane Effigy (Collodi only) Johan (Mercenary) Freikorps Specialist (Can remove Slow & Paralyze) Doppleganger (When copying condition removal actions) Mysterious Emissary (Pending) Changeling (Pending, Can copy condition removal) Of these, unless you play Dreamer, you are currently stuck with Johan. Specialist can work in certain situations though.
zFiend
That list is all I can think of as well.
Nical
"Opponent's Conditions which do not kill us makes us angry." Condition removal is good and useful, but you may play without it. this is usual neverborn player's fate. Additionally, The Scribe can remove 'only' Lucius's Conditions, Dreamer can remove his conditions by Release Nightmares.
